Greetings to @lhorgic and other steemian friends in the house!
Not even a child can tell you that money is not important in every aspect of life. Frankly speaking, money opens doors, makes some things possible, makes things beautiful, gives more meaning to life, makes It worth living, and can take someone to places in life.
Permit me to tell you that he who does not love money, doesn't exist. The reason is, the importance and the value of money can not be substituted. But the question is, does money answereth everything? Well....., follow me below as I share my thoughts with you.
If today you ask me what I need the most, then I will tell you that I need MONEY...!!. The reason is, to get all I need to live comfortably in life, I need money. To buy a house, I need money. to marry, I need money. To wear and eat good food, I need money. To go places, I need money. To be respected in the family and society, I need money. To cut the story short, everyone needs money to be able to buy anything because only money is the medium of exchange.
Nevertheless, I am against the saying that money answereth everything. The reason is, money can buy what is buyable. And only material things can be bought in life. You will believe me that in life, we need more than material things to be comfortable.
We need things like happiness, good health, good and loveable friends, love, and peace of mind. I believe money can not buy them because they are not material things. As I said earlier, money can only offer you material things. In conclusion, money is very important in life, but there is a limit to what money can do. That's to say, it does not answer everything.
If money can offer happiness, love, and good health, then I would have told you that the statement is not overrated or imbalanced. But because of the limit that money has over life, I'm sorry to say that the statement is overrated and imbalanced.
We all have experiences to back up this point. But in case you feel you don't have any, then I will share mine with you. Tell me, where is Michael Jackson today? Where is Nelson Mandela? Where is Stella Obasanjo? Where is Queen Elizabeth? If you don't know, then be informed that they are all in the grave.
These are people of wealth and influence. When they were alive, money was never and has never been a problem to them. Guess what, if money offers everything, none of them could have died. The reason is, they had all the money that any human will ever dream of. But what is the story today? They are gone and gone forever.
If money have power over everything, it could have given them life. If money answereth everything, it could have given them good health. If money have all the saying, it could have prevented them from going to the grave. But due to the limited power that money has, it was unable to save them.
For the statement to be considered valid, it has to be reshaped. For that reason, I would rephrase the statement by saying, Money answereth all material things. I rephrase the statement that way because only material things that a man needs can be put in place by money.
The world is moved by money. The reason is, the world is made up of materials, and as such, money answereth them all. But apart from material things, money has limits over others. That's the reason you see a rich man crying, mourning, and seeking happiness, but they find it not. If money can do all things, I believe Tinubu and Atiku don't need to be going around begging and campaigning for the poor to vote for them. They could have just sat at home and sent money.
I now invite @ophinebabe, @sadeeq55, and @mjerry to participate.

This👆 attribute clearly explain the importance of money in our life.
I agree with you on that fact that money those not answereth all things there are some basic phenomenal aspect of life that money can only assist but not retain. As said by your writeup, the statement is overrated. Though money can sustain life but can not keep one to stay alive forever. So money answereth most things not all things...
Thank you for the invite, i will try and see if i can make an entry before the contest elaps.
You have made a nice entry, I wish you best of luck dear friend .
