My Favourite Steemit Initiative"

It is yet another beautiful day, and I'm happy to be participating in this contest that's organized by @simonnigwe. First of all, I do love to let you know that the steemit platform is the best social network I have come across, and there are so many initiatives that made this platform more and more amazing. Out of many initiatives on the platform, below I will be discussing my favorite.

Which is your favorite Initiative and why?

As earlier mentioned in the lines above, many initiatives made this platform beautiful. But my favorite initiative remains the clubs. I.e, club50, 75, and club100 Initiative. Above all the initiatives on the platform, I consider the club initiative because it has a great advantage to both the users and the platform in general.

On the side of steemit users, this initiative helps us to grow our account as we power up either 50%, 75%, or 100% of our earnings on the platform. By so doing, we also can be of support to other users because, with much steem power in your account, your vote can add value to another user.

On the side of the platform, the initiative helps to maintain the economic value of steem. It is a well-known fact that powering up helps to reduce the circulation of steem, and with less circulation, the value of steem can go higher in the crypto market.

How has this initiative helped you to grow on the platform?

The initiative has helped me in no small measure, and it is still helping me. Ever since I joined this platform in May 2022, I was able to accumulate a steem power above 2000 in my account, and they are safe. If not for the initiative, I could have probably sold out all my rewards and stayed without any savings.

Permit me to say that the initiative has been more of a bank to me. I said this because, on the platform, we power up and save our earnings. We also can buy the steem and still use it to power. Which is more like you saving your money on the platform, and at the same time investing.

If you are to propose a new initiative for the steemit team what will it be?

Steemit platform is an amazing platform, and it has a beautiful initiative that's contributing to the growth and popularity of the platform daily. I believe I won't be wrong to say that the platform is almost perfect in its ways. Nevertheless, I believe the platform can be better than it is today if some initiatives can be reshaped.

If given the opportunity, I do love to reshape the engagement challenge initiative. The initiative has been a vital part of this platform because it has helped many users to build relationships with other steemians around the world, and it has also helped many communities in various ways. Nevertheless, I'm not pleased with the vote distributions.

I said this because the engagement challenge seems to favor a specific group of people. It will be great if users can at least have 1 or 2 votes on their article in a week. But that has not been the case here. Because of the lack of vote from the chief curators, I can not even remember the last time I participated in the engagement challenge because I now see it as a waste of time and data to me. It will be nice if the steem team can be taking a record of those whose articles have been voted so that those who are yet to receive any support can be voted.

In your opinion, what do you think will help raise the price of the steem token?

I don't have much knowledge of how the crypto market works, but one thing I know is when the amount of coins in circulation is much, it affects the price of the coin. As such, I believe that a reduction in the circulation of steem will help raise the price of steem. Thank God for the power-up initiative and also the burnsteem25 initiative. They are doing great toward maintaining the price of steem.

In addition, campaigns against power down will also be important in reducing the amount of steem in circulation. By so doing, the price of steem can raise above it current price in the crypto market.
