Warm greetings to the amazing steemians in the house (@steem4nigeria community). It is a pleasure to always rub my mind and share some of my life experiences and challenges encountered with you all.

Sometimes I wonder if they are anyone who can complete the joining of life without making mistakes. I said this because mistakes seem to be inevitable in human life. Right from childhood till the day we depart the earth, mistakes keep coming our way.

Some of the mistakes hunt us for years, while some can be forgotten. Nevertheless, mistakes are one thing we all despise even though it is inevitable. Remain blessed as I share with you some mistakes I have made so far.

The number of mistakes I have made so far is not known and can not be counted because almost every day I make mistakes. Some of these mistakes I consider minor because they don't come back to haunt me, while some of the mistakes are still haunting me today.

In this article, I will share with you 3 mistakes I have made that are still hurting me anytime I remember them. These mistakes include:

  • 1: leaving private school for public school because of friends. When I was a kid, I was taken to New Edition primary school. As of that time, it was the best school in Jalingo, Taraba state. After a year I insisted that my dad should take me to Jaura Isa primary school. The reason behind it was, I had many friends in Jauro and I had non in New Edition. But Dad never wanted it, but I cried until he was left with no option.

  • 2: Refusing to mine Bitcoin in 2009. Back in 2009, Bitcoin mined for free. I had the chance to do it, but I couldn't because I never believed in its future. I couldn't see reality in it. Some of my friends gave it a try and a few years later, their story changed. If only I accepted to mine it, things could have been different for me today.

  • 3: investing my money in Forex when I did not know how to trade. Some months ago, I met a guy who is into Forex trading, the amount he is making daily attracted me, and I made up my mind to do it. I asked him for tips, and he showed me some of the basics. The next day, I invested #50,000 into it. Little had I known that trading requires more than I know. It will surprise you to know that within 30 minutes, I lost all my money. I should have learned properly before taking such a step.

Do you think it is your past mistakes that are affecting your growth in life?

I can not rely on my past mistake as what is affecting my growth. Remember, I mentioned earlier that mistakes are one thing we can not avoid in life. We can only stop making mistakes when we stop living.

Moreover, my personal growth is not affected in any way because I am far better and ahead of where I was yesterday. I was strong but today I'm stronger. That's to say, despite my past mistakes, I am still progressing.

Nevertheless, if I never made some mistakes, I could have been ahead of where I am today. For instance, if I had continued in New Edition, I could have been more knowledgeable today. If I could have mined Bitcoin in 2009, I could have been richer today, and if I never invested my money in Forex, I couldn't have lost them. With this, I can conclude that if I never made such mistakes, I could have been better. Nevertheless, I know I am better than I was yesterday.

Do you always blame people or yourself for making mistakes, as no one can be perfect?

I always tell people that the day you start laying blame on people for your failure or mistakes is the day you become a failure. Always have it in mind that you are 100% responsible for everything that happens to you.

No one forces you into anything, and you are free to make every decision that concerns your life. As such, I don't blame anyone for every mistake I ever made. I take responsibility for every decision and every outcome.

Share some tips for overcoming mistakes, both physically and virtually.

In as much as mistakes are inevitable, they are ways in which we can reduce the rate at which we make them. Below are some tips.
  • Before making any move, observe the outcome of the movement.
  • Seek professional advice from experienced people before investing.
  • Don't be over emotional especially when you have little knowledge about something.
  • Don't run to a place because you have friends there. Remember you both have a different life to live.
  • take a risk, but an intelligent risk.

In conclusion, mistakes are something we all can not avoid. Nevertheless, be smart enough not to over-make them as some mistakes can end your life. Finally, I invite @patjewell, @yakspeace, and @ruthjoe to participate.

Thank you sir for the support

You make a good point brother and I love the last point you make which says,

mistakes are something we all can not avoid. Nevertheless, be smart enough not to over-make them as some mistakes can end your life.

Keep it up I wish you well.

I don't think there is one person on this earth who doesn't make mistakes. As for Bitcoin, I was one of them. Here on Steemit, I was one of those who left the platform only to return many years later.
It is important to accept and learn from our mistakes.
If we can get that right, we are winners!
Good luck with the contest, and thanks for the invite!

  • Reviews: It is good to know your mistakes earlier.

Always have it in mind that you are 100% responsible for everything that happens to you.

This is undoubtedly true.
We are solely responsible for our actions, decisions and the the consequences that come with them.
