We are living in a surprising and miraculous world where anything can happen to us anytime, anywhere, and can change our lives either for better or worse. Since we aren't living in the world alone, we are living with people known as our neighbors; sometimes, what we decide to do can affect our neighbors negatively, and what our neighbors decide to do can also affect us.
This makes me always give thanks to @xkool24 for allowing us to share the experience we had in our neighborhood with others, and for that, today, I want to share an event that happened today in my neighborhood with you, I hope you learn something from it.
I woke up as early as 4:a.m today so I could help my mom prepare some food stuff for her since she is running a restaurant; some stuff I helped her with involves washing vegetables and water leaves and cutting them since I'm good at it. Before we could finish preparing everything that needed to be done it was already past 7:a.m, so I had to start my own preparation for work.
However, I was going to buy something as part of my preparation for work. On my way, some bricklayers were working in the middle of the street that I was going to pass through. The problem was not because they were working, but it was because of where they were working, and it was also here where this incident I was about to tell you about happened.
To be precise, I went to buy garri, and as I was saying, it was on the street where I was going to pass through,, the bricklayers were working. This street I'm talking about was like a narrow way, not too small; it was wide enough for a single car to pass through but was also dangerous.
On this street, there were two fences built on both sides of the street, which were about 7 feet high, and there were curves. If a car was passing through the street, the body was able to also pass through because it wasn't wide enough.
Also, if a driver was still in the learning stage, it wasn't advisable to drive through that street because they may end up crashing on either side of the fence. It was on this same street where the bricklayers were working.
At first, when I saw them, I wasn't that angry about it until when I saw the owner of the job, like, there was enough space in his compound for the work to be done, why does he have to bring it out here in the street? Well since their work didn't affect me, I just mind my business and keep going to get my garri.

On my way back home, I saw a lady and her daughter driving out of their compound and heading to that street; I was like, "How is she going to pass through there when the guys are working". I started walking a little faster so I could see what would happen because I really knew there would be trouble between the lady and the job owner.
Arriving at the scene, the lady was already arguing with the job owner, asking me the reason he was taking the job out of his compound to the main street where anyone could pass through; she also insisted that the workers should clear the way for her to pass since she was running late.
But the man kept asking him to reverse her car and take the other way round, it would have been the right thing to do, but the lady complained that she wasn't a pro at driving and because of how tight the street is, it would not be easy for her.
As the argument continued, one of the neighbors came out and heard everything that was going on. He then asked the lady to come out of the car so he could help her reverse the car out of the street, but the lady didn't pay any attention to him since she was really angry.
At this point the workers had already made a little way for the lady to pass through, moving the ordinary sand to one side of the fence and the one which was already mixed with cement to The other side.
The lady, on seeing this, didn't think of reversing again, then she moved with speed to pass through. Unfortunately, one side of the get into the sand, and because of this, the car drifted towards that side, heading towards the fence; it was at this moment I realized she had messed up for moving up with such speed.

As the car was heading towards the fence to hit it, she managed to control the car away from it, heading towards the other side of the fence, since she was still going at speed, she was out of control, and she wasn't able to think twice before the car hit the fence with great force causing serious damage to the car.

Other neighbors, on hearing the car hitting the fence, came out to help her. I really thank God her daughter wasn't injured nor the lady herself. When people hear about the incident that happened, some people blame the man who ordered the job, while some blame the lady.

If it was you, who would you have judged, the man who paid for the job or the lady? But before you judge the man, remember that someone asked the lady to come out of the car so he could help reverse the car, but she didn't pay attention to him, which led to the incident.
Also, before you judge the lady, remember that the man didn't have any right to organize his job on an open street where anybody can drive or walk through. So what is your opinion on this? Who do you think is responsible for the mess?

Omg!!,I don't really know what to suggest. Just look at how anger and frustration just put the lady into a big mess. Now she has to take her car to panel beater for repairs. On how I see i place the fault on both the lady and the job owner and the workers. In this life one as to put anything into consideration before taking an action. If the workers and the job owners has put into consideration what will happen if they still continued working on the main road, they would have done the best. And in the other hand, if the lady taught the side effects of driving her car with speed on that kind situation she wouldn't have damage her front car.
As said in Bible that For each one will carry his own load,so that's their own problem. 🤷 My brother things dey happened oo

Yeah, we can't really blame either of the party for the mess, but if we look really deep into this matter, I don't think we can really blame the lady.
It's true that's their problem but we can also learn from other people's mistakes right, I guess that the reason we always share our experiences form our neighborhoods here.

Safety is always a watchword. There are situations that cannot be changed at the moment.
Insisting on your right sometimes may not be the best. The best course of wisdom would have been for the woman to allow the man to help her out or to wait for the sand to be moved hence allowing her to reverse by herself.
