Hello and greetings to all my fellow colleagues and friends, I welcome you all in this weeks contest on "Neighborhood Watch #57 Reporting Events Around us" usually organized by @xkool here in #Steem4Nigeria community
It's a very good and beautiful thing to share with people most especially colleagues and friends what's happening around your environment and also give them awareness to those new and usually things that happen or exist around you, because we all lives in different geographical area and I believe that they some activities going on around us, so why the hesitation let's report those events now.
It was a bright and sunny day on Wednesday 17th July when every body is willing and hoping to return from their different activities like work, school and other activities, when an a minor accident happened that results to huge and crowdy hold up in No.1 Osina street by Nowas Filling station, Trans-Ekulu Enugu state Nigeria.

All this started when a big tanker carrying petroleum was trying to cross the road along Nowas round about, when this was about happening my mind told me that something bad wants happen because of the way the driver is just entering the road carelessly so I took pictures of it immediately, not too long a vehicle carry passenger just came and hit the front of the tanker, according to people who were there when this incident happened they said that thank God the vehicle did not hit back of the tanker otherwise it would have catch fire but since it was the front side of the tanker the only thing that happened was the vehicle front got scattered and damage but thank God they was no loss of live only some passenger and the driver got injured.

When this has happened immediately people gather around the spot this incident took place and the Federal Road Safety Commission(FRSC) have to move the vehicle out from the road and since it was not that serious they just have to take the passenger to hospital for check up and treatment for those who injured, but before all this could be done it has already resulted to a very serious hold up that last up to an hour or even more than, some passenger even have to get down from their various vehicles to rest a little bit.
The reason I was not able to capture the accident vehicle was when it happened some police and FRSC stopped people from coming closer apart from that my mind was so troubled that I don't want to see any injured or wounded person so I have to maintain my lane and stay where I am to take the pictures you are seeing.

Moral lesson
When the accident happened they never knew who to blame because both of the the drivers were at fault because the tanker driver was entering the road without minding if somebody was coming, while the vehicle driver was also on high speed that he can not see the tanker to hold brake,
For life and healthy benefits always watch carefully and as well slow down when your get some places like roundabout, bridge, zebra crossing, traffic areas etc all this is just to avoid accident and as well enhance safety journey or travel.
