What is the name of your country? How many languages can be found in your country?

After the end of British rule in India in 1947, two states named India and Pakistan were born. Then again two parts of Pakistan were West Bengal and East Bengal. Since then, the West Pakistanis began to impose themselves on the East Bengali Pakistanis in terms of language, literature, culture, economy and social system, and discrimination arose. The people of East Bengal started a protest and movement against this. In continuation of this, In continuation of this, our beloved independent sovereign Bangladesh was achieved on December 16, 1971 through a bloody 9-month long armed liberation war.

Since then, Bangladesh has appeared in the world as an independent country.

My country name is the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

Our national language is Bengali.

Our national language is Bengali. Our people of Bangladesh speak this Bengali language. There are 64 districts in Bangladesh, the people of 64 districts all speak Bengali. However, the speaking patterns of the people of each district in each region are different, such as the language that the people of Dhaka speak, the people of the districts around Dhaka district speak other regional languages.

Again the people of Sylhet district do not speak the same language as the people of Chittagong. The language spoken by the people of Barisal district does not speak the language of the people of Noakhali district. So these languages are called regional languages.

Mountain dwellers also have a type of language which is the language of the tribes. So the people of Bangladesh speak Bengali in the regional languages of different districts of Bangladesh and

Everyone's language is Bengali.

Among the listed languages in your country, how many are you familiar with?

It is estimated that the Bengali language was born from the East Indian Prakrit language about a thousand years ago. Different varieties of the Bengali language can be seen depending on the geographical area. These regional variations of the language are called dialects.

Bengali language has its own Bengali script. The number of original letters of this Bengali script is 50. Vowels 11 consonants 39. Bengali language is spoken and written with these scripts.

Bangladesh has 39 other languages apart from Bangla, among which none of them are in use except Bengali. Also, languages like Ahmia, Boro Manipuri and Sylhet are written in Bengali script.

Besides, Bengali is the official language of West Bengal and Tripura states of India.

Among the languages listed in my country I know and have heard some of the district languages. Dhaka District and Comilla Narsingdi, Bikrampur, and Gazipur in and around Dhaka District speak the same Dhakaiya language.

The people of Jessore district speak pure Bengali much like West Bengal. Besides, Magura, Narail around Jessore speaks a similar language.

There is a type of language in Sylhet district which is called sylheti Nagari language.

The language of Barisal District is the Barisal Region, Noakhali Language of Noakhali District, Language of Chittagong Region Language of Mymensingh Region.Besides, the regional languages of Rajshahi, Sirajganj, and Kishoreganj districts are different. In addition, the language of the northern region is found in the middle and variations. so I have heard at least about 15 district languages and know two district languages.

Besides, there are many tribes living in Bangladesh, Santal, Manipuri, I have heard their language, I have mixed with them, so I have heard and know the language of most of the districts of Bangladesh.

How has this language improved/helped your life and business?

The use of Bengali language is officially mandatory in almost all places of life in Bangladesh. And we speak this language since birth. It is our mother tongue. Our mother tongue is Bengali, our national language is Bengali.

We are the only nation in the world, who won through language movement to protect mother tongue Bengali. Bengali Salam Barakat Jabbar Shafiq was shot at during the march of student movement on February 21, 1952 in support of Bengali language and not Urdu as the national language. They sacrificed their lives to protect Bengali language.

We will never forget the sacrifice of Bengalis for their abandoned mother tongue.

Therefore, the people of the world respect this great personality and in 1999 it received international recognition as a Bengali language and this day of February 21st is International Mother Language Day.

We observe this day every year to pay respect to the martyrs. This language is closely related to my life. This language is our life and we are proud of this language. This language is our pride.

International Language As Bengali language has gained international recognition, in many countries of the world, our Bengali language can be spoken in any part of the world along with other languages. In particular, our Prime Minister gave a Bengali speech at the United Nations meeting.

image.png

For this reason, Dhaka Central Shaheed Minar has been established and Shaheed Minar has been constructed in almost every educational institution and office, court, and play ground in Bangladesh to pay respect to the martyrs.

That's why this language is common in many countries of the world and because Bengali can be spoken, in addition to business and communication, communication can be established in all countries of the world.

And we don't have to depend on foreign languages to speak easily. That's why our country is progressing day by day. Say it in education and say it in the field of trade and commerce, Bengal will continue to expand everywhere
And there is not much left to reach the pinnacle of progress.

Are you willing to teach your children these languages? Yes/No. State your reason.

Since we Bengalis have given our lives for this language and it has been recognized internationally as our mother tongue Bengali.

  • Still, if we want to keep pace with the world, we will have to master the languages of many countries of the world.

  • It can be seen that many people abroad cannot speak Bengali language because compared to other languages, Bengali language is a difficult language which cannot be learned easily.

  • Therefore, if you want to communicate with foreigners, you must know some common and easy languages. One such language is English which is common in all countries of the world. So I want to teach foreign languages to my children as well as Bengali language.

Because learning a foreign language is not wrong, we can learn other languages in addition to our mother tongue. If you are going to travel or study abroad, if you know a foreign language, it will be helpful to understand yourself and to explain something to someone. It will also develop skills.

It is important to teach language to our children so that they can communicate with the right language.

Hello dear friend, Bengali is a very sweet language which is pleasant to hear and speak. It is the language of your country after which your country got its name and I also came to know through many posts that in your country this language is considered your own.
