"Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 13: No Pain, No gain." || @joymm

Greetings friends. How are you fairing? Trust things are going as planned? It's my delight to bring to you this week contest which is also a very interesting one. I also thank you for visiting my post today. Below is my participation;

Do your definition of terms i.e Pain and gain.

Although the sound alike, but there are two different meanings. Pain are the feelings that you have when you have been hurt mentally, physically, emotionally and otherwise. On the other hand, Gain means to win, obtain or achieve what you want.

What do you understand by the statement.

There is a huge reward for hardwork and no one living on planet Earth cannot expect any reward without pain. If you must gain something, you will have to be pained for it. The "Pain" in this proverb doesn't really mean physical pain, but it rather explains on how difficult the effort may be, we should work hard in order to benefit.

Take for instance, those of us saying that we want to buy lands, build houses, set up a business of your own, have a car, etc, but before you achieve all this, you must go through series of pains and suffer for it. Some will go and serve people for years and become settled, while some will start from the stratch and start to build up theirs and achieve what they want, etc.

Do you subscribe to this school of thought?

Yes, I do.i have my eligble reasons for supporting this statement. Here are few points of mine;

• If you are looking up to achieve something in life, you must put forth alot of work and make sacrifices to succeed.

• With a continuous effort, you will achieve all you want.

• If you haven't suffered for something, you won't gain anything, so hardwork matters alot.

• Nothing good comes easy, so nothing good will happen to a person until you experience pain.

Share an experience for or against the statement.

When there is no pain, there is no gain. Everyone in life must have gone through pained situations . I have had an experience and I will share it you. I started with this platform last year may. But during the last year, I wasn't active and consistent. But earlier this year, my sister being @chiomzy810 showed me her steem power and how she reached 1k steems just within the space of 5 months. I was so amazed and suprised too.

Then, I realized that I need to pick up myself from the stratch. So this year April, I started steemit again just with 30 steems. I became consistent, I didn't have time to sleep again because I do post at night. I became pained to the extent that I suspended everything I need to do and focused on steemit. Long story cut short, just within 4 months, I have reached 550 steems. So, I have gained and that is my reward for my hardwork.
