Youth Summit: Beyond Praise | 29th August, 2024.

Greetings to members of this great family I trust we are all doing well. Today I want to share with us the wonderful program we had concerning the Youth of The Apostolic church Ikom Cross River state. Below is the topic of discussion:

Beyond Praise

The question is what is Praise? This is an act of Thanksgiving concerning what you receive from someone or persons. However, praise can be seen as an act of worship to God. This means that God is worthy of our Thanksgiving/praise.

Sometimes, we thank God because of what he has done for us! But how about praising God even when you didn't receive any gift or something from him! But you still praise him with all your heart. At this point, we can say that it's beyond Praise and it must come genuinely from your heart.

As the man of God started giving the word, many were filled with the presence of the word, and his text was taken from:

The second day of this program has been so amazing. When you read those portions of the Bible, you will see that Praise is a command and God delights in praise.

Impact of the word

The purpose of this program is to bring the minds of the youths back to Christ! Many had gone far from him but Jesus doesn't count it on us and that is why he says in Matthew 11:28 that you should come just the way you are! It doesn't matter your past life or how people see you but you are very important to God.

Note, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things have passed away and behold every other thing becomes new. This is not just for those in this program but how about you who is reading this text?

Has it occurred to you that you should return back to your creator? How about changing your old life and accepting Jesus? He will take good care of you. If you are not born again, you can say this prayer with faith:

Lord Jesus, I come to you today.
Forgive all my sins and take me to yourself again.
I'm sorry for my past life, have mercy upon me.
Use your blood that you shade on Calvary to wash me. Thank you Jesus for accepting me.
