The Diary Game || Monday 4th January 2024, My Day in Words and Pictures

Hello my good people of steemit in this prestigious Steem kids and Parents Community. It is my pleasure to thrill you guys with yet another exciting session of my day 4th, February 2024 diary game. I still remain Esangobong John @kemsyluv.

Dear Diary

Morning

I woke up this morning as early as 6:30, with rumbling in my stomach and large appetite, so I decided to give myself a special treat. After I brushed my teeth and washed my face (I didn't want to bath yet, since I was going to prepare fresh fish), I quickly rushed to the market and bought all the ingredients needed for the soup preparation. Below are the pictures showing me preparing and the finished prepared ingredients.

With the above ingredients, I prepared what we called YELLOW SOUP. In Bayelsa State, yellow soup is a native soup prepared with fresh fish, periwinkle, prawn, some local spices and thicken with garri. This is actually one of my favorites soup and I must say I did Justice to this meal. Below is the already cooked soup, which is going down with fufu. I really ate to my satisfaction.

There wasn't much time left, because I had Sunday meeting by 9 o'clock to attend . So I quickly rushed to the bathroom and showered. It was already time for the meeting, so I headed for the kingdom hall of Jehovah witnesses. The meeting lasted for almost two hours.

Afternoon

The afternoon was already tense. It was rush hour and I had limited time to go help one of my christian sister who was preparing snacks for the get-together.

Today was a special day because we will be doing send off get-together for our coordinator (CO. Brass congregation of Jehovah witnesses, Bayelsa State), he is relocating to the state capital from Twon Brass, Brass LGA, to Yenagoa Bayelsa State.

We prepared a hundred and forty pieces of snacks and Canda pepper sauce (mixed with piumpium and plantain), those from Akwa Ibom State will really understand what I mean. Already we were getting late, so we quickly packed everything neatly and take it to the venue of the gathering where we will meet with other christian brothers and sisters.

Evening

Evening events was all about the send-off gathering. Everybody including me was there, the chairman of the the occasion, after welcoming everyone, open the event by asking one of the elders to pray. Next he gave a welcoming speech and asked that the little sisters in the congregation sing a melodious song for the coordinator. We did bible quiz and later, the snacks, the pepper Canda sauce and drinks was shared.
Finally the event came to an end. We took lots of group pictures.

In conclusion, this was how my diary game of Monday 4th January 2024 went. Hope you guys enjoyed yourselves were salivating while reading. Stay tuned for more exciting content/post.
