Greetings Steemians!
It's a good day with a great contest to write, and I am delighted to write on this contest organized by @xkool24 which is titled, "My neighborhood watch #31-reporting events around us".And thank God for this contest because it's an avenue for me to express the situation of my State(Nasarawa) right now.
This particular contest is a lively contest which shows the events and situations of our various environments, and it also has to do with our daily activities and it's a great pleasure having you reading through my blog as I will spot out the occurrences in my environment today.

I was opportune to travel to Lafia the state capital of Nasarawa state,today to see the political situations on how people are lamenting and crying for justice and transparency in the judgement of the supreme Court between the present governor Engr A.A Sule and David Umbugadu .The situation is that of pity and of a great concern because,I witnessed how the poor naked widows,who were protesting peacefully for their right were beaten and one of them shot,and some of them were kidnapped with no trace of coming back.

The situation was very pathetic and disheartening to see, because this clearly shows that people don't longer have trust in the government,one doesn't even have the freedom for fair hearing and expression anymore.
On my way coming back to Akwanga,I also met a good number of people protesting for their right and talking bitterly about how our gubernatorial mandate was snatch by the supreme Court judges and given to the present governor.

Seriously, Nasarawa State is in a great tumult and confusion right now,we all need your prayers and support please!
I feel relieved writing this article,reporting the situation in my environment. Steemit is the only platform that enables me to voice out my challenge.

You've improved greatly in your writeups. The current situation in Nigeria needs help. I can't imagine seeing so much widows that are poor and helpless in your state. This is where attention should be called for. Thanks for the invite. You've narrated well. Wishing you best of luck in this contest
