Steem greetings and compliments of the season everyone. I remain yours truly @kingdouglas. Today, I am sharing my diary and a nice day of Sunday, 1st December, 2024 with you all, please stay tuned.
Every year around the world, people, especially Christians regards the month of December as a remarkable season that marks many salient events. Apart from being the last month of the year which cause people to be happy for being alive from 1st January to the end of the year, December is also a month that Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ on Christmas Day, 25th December.
December is a month of celebration, the season of carols, visitation where people show love and exchange gifts with loved ones and also check on friends, relatives and family members to show solidarity and bund strong affection.
On Sunday, my family (I, my wife and my son) started our December celebration by visiting my wife's eldest brother's family who happens to be my father in-law since my wife's father is late, "May His gentle soul rest in peace, Amen".
I began the day by 5:30am when I woke my wife and son for morning devotion. Immediately after morning devotion, we started home chores. I later brushed my teeth, while my wife went to the nearby supermarket to buy bread and juice drink which we agreed to use as our breakfast, I went to collect our clothes from the laundry shop.

Some laundry men (Dry cleaners) can be so frustrating, even when I gave him the clothes two days before that Sunday and still emphasized that we will use those clothes on Sunday morning, the clothes wasn't ready when I went. I waited for him to finish ironing and parcel for me before I get back to my house by 7am.

I rushed to barber shop to barb my hair, though I didn't take pictures since I was rushing to meet up the time we supposed to leave for church. I wasted more time than expected at the laundry shop. I came back to the house from barbing salon by 8am, by then my wife had already taken her bath and was preparing our son for Sunday service. I quickly brushed my shoes and entered bathroom to freshen up then we took our breakfast and went to church. There was no time for pictures at that moment but I managed to snap my shoes after cleaning.

We came back from church by 12:30pm and freshened up before we ate the remaining rice that was in the house. My boy's concentration was on bread. That boy and bread are 5&6 smiles. We rested a little after we took the lunch. I didn't know when I slept off. It was as if I was dreaming when I heard from my wife"My love, are we not going again?" When I woke up, it was already 3:30pm.
I got up from bed and bath as we started preparing for the visit. By 4pm, we all dressed up and left the house to my in-law's house.

It was a 30 minutes drive from my house to my in-law's house. While on transit, my in-law called me to know our where about, they've already prepared for their "August visitors". His children we waiting to see Princewill, my son and play together as children normal does.

We arrived there by 4pm. Jubilation was in the air, my in-law, his wife and children gave us a very warm welcome, his children were delighted to have us especially our son. while my in-law and his wife got inside and ordered us in, we took pictures with their children and my wife handed over what we bought for them to the children.

It was a funfair and happy hours although. They entertained us, we shared good time with both families, we drank, ate, gisted and children we playing different kinds of play they could till 6:45pm where we went back to our house. Friends, there's love in unity and I and my family started this season of celebration in a fulfilled day.
