The Diary Game // A fulfilled day at work. [14/11/2024]

Hello friends! How are you guys? Hope you all are doing great. I'm fine also. I want to share with my steemit friends how I spent my day which I know you will like it. My alarm woke me as usual by 5:30am, I sang some worship songs and praised God for a brand new day. After which, I entered bathroom and brushed my teeth, freshened up and took a light breakfast then leave to the office because I had a school examination question papers that I printed yesterday and remain to complete and deliver to my client this morning.

By 7:30am, I was already in the office, I tidied the office and started printing the remaining job immediately.

By 8am, the teacher that gave me the school question papers job came for it , according to him, the exams was to be written this morning. He was so happy as I had already done with his job before he came. He appreciated me for the job well done.

ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY TO MEET A NEW CLIENT

As I was progressing with my job, about 12noon, a strange number called. Hello! This is Mr. Ayodele, am I talking to Mr. Douglas? he asked. Yes you are speaking with Mr. Douglas, I responded. I am the branch manager of the newly established outlet of SAMSUNG company in Uyo, a friend gave me your contact that you are good in printing work, I have some jobs for you, will you be able to deliver today? He added. Yes Sir, I responded with smiles.

Okay, come to my office at Sheer grace Building, No.32, Wellington Bassey way, beside Access Bank, Barracks Road, Uyo. We are occupying 1st and the last floor, Mr. Ayodele said. Alright, I'll be there soon,. Since I was less busy in the office, I moved to Ayodele's office immediately.

When I got to the office, he gave me a job to design and print flex banners that will be installed on the building to replace the one that the former people who occupied the office used. He strongly emphasized on whether I will be able to deliver the job because the graphic designer that they contracted for the job disappointed them, and the next day will be the ground breaking of the business in the office, I gave him full assurance of getting the job done and delivered same day. He was overwhelmed by my assurance and also gave me flyers job to design and print.

We stroke a deal, to proof the seriousness, he transferred the agreed amount for the job to me. I went back to my office and suspended every other jobs and focused on the Samsung flyers and flex banners design. My business Motto is "Design, Print and Deliver on time" and I want to maintain my business reputation at all times.

By 5pm, Mr. Ayodele started calling me for the job, I can imagine how he felt as the next day was the inauguration of their office. Meanwhile the first graphic designer they contracted had disappointed them, so he found difficult to believe that I deliver the two jobs within the short time.

By then, I was done with the printing of flyers. I was still printing the flex banners, I told him on phone that his job will be ready soon. My assurance always gave him more confidence in me. By 6pm, I was done with the printing of both the flyers and flex banners of Mr. Ayodele's job. I called him to be sure if he's in the office, that I'm about to bring the job. You need to hear his excitement on phone, smiles. Yes come over I'm waiting for you in the office, Ayodele replied with great joy.

When you achieve your goals, you will not only be happy but also feel the sense of relief. May I use this medium to advise my lovely steemian colleagues to be committed to whatever they are doing as Jehovah said, He will bless the works of our hands.

I delivered the job to Mr. Ayodele in his office by 6:45pm, he was very excited and even added some money for my transportation and job well done. The installers were already on ground to install the flex banners in preparation of the next day's inauguration ceremony.

I left the Samsung office straight to my house, I got to my house around 7:10pm, I took my bath, ate my dinner and headed to the bed as I was very tired. That was how my day went.
