Unforgettable Night // Party with Friends [29:12:2024].

There is a popular adage which says "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy". This proverb means that someone needs a break for fun and leisure after much work to medically calm the system. It is pertinent to involve in leisure activities and create time to relax, not only focusing on work to avoid being bored.

On 29th December, 2024, after my hard work from January to December, I decided to go out with my good friend and a steemian colleague, @udoikotabasi for a party. The idea of taking time off for enjoyment was to encourage ourselves for our labour and achievements in the year 2024 and also prioritize our mental and emotional well-being.

We had a thrill and we were so excited. The fun of the party is still fresh in my memory as if it was yesterday. It was a night filled with laughter, music, and unforgettable moments with my guy and other friends. I urge my amazing readers to stay tuned as I'm going to share my party experience and what made it special.

The party was held at "The Climate Resorts" located in the heart of the city of Uyo - Nigeria. The moment we entered the arena, the music and the light from sounds and lighting engineers welcomed us. The club was full with people of different ages both male and female who were dancing and drinking, some gathered on their respective tables, full of chop chop.

The DJ was spinning a mix of popular songs, from hip-hop, highlife, reggae, R&B to electronic dance music. I and my friend and other people that formed the crowd were dancing and singing along to every song, creating an electric atmosphere.

My friend and I danced the night away, losing ourselves in the music and the moment. @uyaiuyo really missed out. She was supposed to join us but time and chance didn't permit her.

The club had a variety of food and drinks available, from snacks to full meals. We indulged in my state owned Champion lagar Beer & Hero, Croaker roasted Fish, Cocktails and some other delicious finger foods sipped on refreshing and keeping our energy levels up throughout the night.

The best part of the party was the company. I met other close friends which I didn't expect I could meet them there and enjoyed together that night. All of whom shared my passion of music and dancing. We laughed, joked, and danced together, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

There was many highlights from the hypeman who was so funny with his comic vibes, but one moment that stands out was when the DJ played our favourite song. The whole club erupted in cheers and I hugged the hypeman while other people in the crowd hugged each other, screeming with excitement.

I will advise both employees and self employed and business owners to always find time to have fun especially with friends, you would not know the memory you will create by hanging out with close friends. There's need to relax and engage in leisure activities to calm one's brain which has a lot of health benefits.
