Hello everyone in this noble community, I'm pleased to share with you all my participation in this wonderful contest today which talks about navigating life in my homeland. I'm a Nigerian and it will interest you to know how I navigate life here in this arena.

Describe the current situation of your country or homeland in terms of economic, financial, and social aspects.

The current situation in my country is really hard in every aspect i.e. economic, financial, and social aspects. I have said this because at the moment everything seems to be very difficult for everyone both the rich and the poor.

In the part of the economy, fuel has increased price drastically and the value of the Nigeria naira is nothing to write home about. This leads us to the financial situation of the country where despite the less value of the currency, getting the money has become extremely hard as well.

With all of this situation in place, you will also agree with me that nothing can be fun thereafter because social life requires money for it to be more beautiful. This is currently what my dear country Nigeria is facing.

What challenging situations have you faced in your country?

There are lots of challenging situations currently in my country and one of the major ones is the issue of insecurity. Since there is hunger in the land, crime has become the order of the day. As of the time of writing this post, you can't go out once is 7:00 pm here in my area because of the insecurity.

People are using every means possible to survive. Today we see people stealing, raping, and kidnapping for running some just to survive. The crime situation is alarming these days. I do hope this thing comes to an end someday

Despite these challenges, how do you survive/manage life?

Well, life has to continue no matter the situation we find ourselves in. I have learned t live with the present conditions of things around me. So I have adopted the lifestyle of surviving.

I have cut down my expenses and I have also tried to remain at home because of the incident happening during late hours in my area. This has helped to protect me from any form of attack and difficult situations that ordinarily I would have been facing.

What lessons have you learned from the experiences you've had in your homeland/country?

There are many lessons that I have learned in the current situation and most of the lessons are for my betterment. I have learned to manage because of how things have become very difficult in the country. I have also learned to stay indoors and read more.

Since going out puts me a risk of getting into the hands of thieves and kidnappers, it is better to always stay aware of such an adventure and have myself protected at all times.

I want to invite @bonaventure24 @m-fdo and @yakspeace to also join this contest.
