Accelerator scheme Day 5: The weather and I

Hello dear friends and famz,I trust you are good. I feel very happy joining our accelerator scheme once again.

Well I've been busy with other publications in the community. Let me say I've missed writing about the weather. Today I deemed it fit to write about it.

Yes! The weather has been awesome, I wouldn't want to say otherwise. Can we human really be satisfied with a particular weather condition? I guess no...some prefer it hot,others prefer it cold,we still have people who want the blend of both..

Which ever comes is what people like me embrace but that is not to say I don't have my preferred weather conditions. Well I love it cold. Smiles.

The weather in this region has been sunny though, it hasn't really been rainy. I think we only saw rain twice this week which includes today Friday 9th Sept.

How the weather has affected me

I've noticed for the past three weeks now that rain has been falling on Fridays, morning to be precise. Fridays here use to be the general market day for those living within and in neighbouring communities.

When it falls this ways, it has a way of disrupting my plans for the day. Am this kind of person that love to itemize my to-do for the day but I find myself trapped inside when this rain begins to drizzle and shower non-stop soaking the ground till it wants no more.

While am trapped inside, feeling a bit uncomfortable and uneasy because of my plans for day which is yet to be achieved ,the farmers are happy that's it raining non-stop.

Oh I think I forgot to mention that farming is the basic occupation of the people in my environment. So they are always happy when it rains especially this season when it seem the rain is gradually rounding up for the year.

I would have loved to rejoice with the farmers on days like this but I have no farm am cultivating,it then becomes hard to relate with the kind of joy that wells up from their inside.

On days like this,I get even more pained that the rain stops me from going out most especially to the market to get stuffs as early as possible so that I can face other line ups for the day.

Well we have been coping with this for the past 3 weeks. It wouldn't have been a big deal if I had nothing doing outside, I would have just wrapped myself, lie on my bed and enjoy the cool weather.

My prediction for next week

It seems the weather now has a pattern based on my observation for the past 3 week. I've observed that it now rains on Friday and on the strength of this observation,I predict it will rain next week Friday and that we would also have many sunny days next week just like this week.

The kind of sun that shines here is another story entirely. If I begin to talk about the sun here in the north... Let me just leave the story for another day. Lol.

I just hope the weather favours us all next week. I think I would be ungrateful to say one weather is better,I can only prefer one above the other. Whichever comes,we will roll with it.

God has given us the strenght to adapt to any kind of weather and am grateful to Him for that.Thanks for reading through. I really appreciate your time.
