Hello famz, our result for the just concluded contest is ready... Trust me, am as excited as you're. I hope we didn't forget that the goal of putting up the contest in the first place is to learn how we can set and achieve goals for ourselves this year.

I deemed it fit to begin my contest for the year with this topic since we are just getting started. I would be switching back to my signature contest... although I would be modifying it as time goes on just to serve you better and for interesting blogging experience.

I got quite a number of entry for this contest. Let me cease this opportunity to appreciate everyone who made an entry into this contest, you all did well, at least to the best of your knowledge and ability.

Your entries really made me have a deeper look into this subject, knowledge was indeed added to me, I want to believe that those that engaged also learnt one or two lessons from the entries. I had to adapt some of the points I came across while exploring the entries, kindly check them out below.

The S.M.A.R.T. goal setting formula is a powerful and effective tool for setting and achieving goals. This acronym stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely.

If we can create a routine for our daily activities and follow that routine then achieving goals becomes much easier.

Set a deadline for the goal and make your first approach towards achieving it

Check your progress regularly;
this is the process of checking how far you have gone in achieving such goals

As usual when I got to the point of selection, I was in a state of dilemma or should I use the world trilemma...lol, but trust me It was quite difficult selecting our top 4 for this contest but am under obligation to do so. Everyone wrote beautiful and am glad that almost (if not all) all entries were support. This is to show that your input was appreciated.
