Am glad to participate in this contest entitled "my view on the high cost of items in my country"

I will share my view on this contest using the current situation of my country Nigeria

We are leaving in the lasts days which is critical and hard to endure the Bible had already for told.

what is the situation in your country currently?, Has items in your country increased in price lately?

In my country nigeria some of the leaders that govern a particular region has impost hardship to those they are superior to. By increasing taxes fee, refusing to pay workers, last year fuel subsidy was removed from nigeria economy this has exposed the citizens to extreme hardship.
Because of this particular act almost every price of commodity in the country has increased as fuel price skyrockets this is totally unfair.

Mention 5 items in your country that has increased in price. How much was it before and how much does it cost now( it will be nice to also show the price in steem)

Currently almost every thing has increased price but i will mention only 5 of the most important commodities of which the increase of price has really affected me.

• fuel

• bag of rice

• baby diaper

• bag of beans

• cooking gas

This are things are important to everyone as we use it on a daily basis but their current price has become so high that most of that common people cant afford. The increase
of fuel price has affected my business negative, rice is my favorite meal but the price is high that sometimes i have to change the menu, the price of baby diapers is really affecting and i cant escape it being a mom of a newborn. Fuel price increments has also made transportation very expensive that almost all our income goes to transportation, cooking gas as also skyrockets as transportation increases.

diaper 6,000 naira=24 steem	11,000 naira= 44 steem
beans 150,000 naira=600 steem	230,000 naira=1,000 steem
cooking gas 800 naira= 3 steem	1,300 naira= 5 steem

How are you coping with the difficulties in your country and what do you think is causing these difficulties?

Cutting down some of my expenses has help alot in the current situation. And i also think that 2 Timothy 3:1 that has already alerted us about the future is starting to display.

If you have an opportunity to leave your country to another country for greener pastures which country will you like to travel to and why?

If I have the opportunity to leave my country Nigeria to any other country i would go to any country where the interest of their citizens are considered.
