A Day like a thousand years

Hi everyone, hope you are all fine, it is a pleasure sharing a contest post and l am delighted to write about 'A day like a thousand years, it just like in some ones life where one is going through a difficult time or stressful experience, struggling to be out of the situation, just like when I was a child, a time comes where it seem the whole world has come to an end
The moment l lost my father who was then the breadwinner of the house and l left with my siblings and my widowed mother who face maltreatment from my ruthless uncle.

As a girl child I refused to give up, l stood up and defend , though the time was hard, l believe with God on my side l can make it despite the challenges, l engage with food stuff and sell it, as time goes on l look forward to a better thing.

One day as I was busy arranging my food stuff, l had a call from my bosome friend who happen to work in the university saying l should join her to Christmas village, then in the village it always happen in the primary school field every 26th December.

With joy in my heart, I couldn't wait for the next minute I joined her immediately, we stroll round the field and have fun, that was the day she introduced me to her friend who happen to change my story, my ambition, it was like a dream, a day like a thousand years comes shorten for good.

I was able to further my education, learn trade, my journey was accomplished through my good friend,it was awesome, my heart was light because there was no burden any longer, l knew that the great future lies ahead of me.

I achieved all this when my world turned around,l finally use the certificate for my good, every thing work for me, l thank God

I was making a journey of success in which I can not be at the same position, the future is bright,a big congratulations to me whose success was beyond the expectation, a day becomes like a thousand years, thank you.
