Hello friends!!
I'm really excited to be participating in the second week of the Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 15. Today I am going to participate in the engagement challenge in the steem4nigeria Community. Today's topic: SEC WK2 : The language in my country.

What is the name of your country? How many languages can be found in your country?

My country name is Bangladesh. About 45-50 languages are available in my country. Many people have been living here since ancient times in Bangladesh. Bangladesh was once a commercial country and people from different parts of the world used to come here to do business. Here many of them married and left their families and with it the languages. So we can call Bangladesh a multi-dimensional country. People of 4 main religions live in our country, they generally speak Bengali and also use their own religious languages. I have seen people from ethnic minorities using the worst language. I love the languages they speak.

Among the listed languages in your country, how many are you familiar with?

I am familiar with about 5 of the listed languages in my country. The main language of our country is Bengali. Bengali has been selected as the state language. All the people of Bangladesh read books in Bengali language. But they use their own language to maintain their own culture. I am quite familiar with 4 such languages. These languages are: Bengali, Urdu, Hindi, English and Sawtali language. Many speaking friends studied in my school, college and university, and I heard these languages from them. I have a Southal friend who introduced almost all of us to his language.

How has this language improved/helped your life and business?

source

I usually speak Bengali. 100% people of our country speak Bengali language. However, different castes and groups use their own community languages. Bengali language is used everywhere from our schools to colleges. This language helps me share the right attitude with others. I have improved my life and quality of life by using Bengali language. As easily as a man can express himself through language, nothing else can express him. I can easily speak Bengali with common people in our country so my way is very easy. I hope that the new generation who will come will also be able to use this language to improve their life and quality of life.

Are you willing to teach your children these languages? Yes/No. State your reason:-

Yes I am willing to teach this language to my children. Reasons for teaching this language:- We as a Bengali nation are known in the world for our Bengali language. We are the only nation that gave 3 million lives fighting for language. So I am proud of my language. I want all the people of our country to become educated in this language. I will teach my child Bengali to honor our forefathers who died for the language. Because Bengali language is the mother tongue of our country, everyone learns Bengali language. With the help of Bengali, one can easily talk to other people.

Thank you so much for the support :)

Dear @maimuna mam,,

Awni is a Balladeshi and I am happy to know that he is comfortable speaking katha in Bengali language. Actually all of us are born with love for our own country language and they feel comfortable speaking katha in their own language to express their thoughts.

Apart from Bengali you have mastered Hindi, Urdu, English and Sawtali which is really commendable. English is a compulsory language for all of us as this language is widely used all over the world.

There are many ethnic groups living in Bangladesh, among them Southals are one of them, a Southal-speaking man has learned Southal language from your friend Jat Kach. In fact, socialization equips us in new ways.

It is very good to know that you will educate your children in Bengali language. And it shows how satisfied and proud you are with the Basad of your country.

I really enjoyed reading your post. I wish you all the best in this competition. Stay well.

Thanks a lot sir, for your beautiful comment.

Thanks a lot sister.

It is good to know that about your country's vast cultural heritage and the many languages you people have. I find it hard learning other people's language now that I am older so I always wonder in awe at people who can speak up to 4 languages fluently.

Thanks bro.

Hello friend

You have shared how there exist about 40-50 languages in your country Bangladesh. Stressing that there are also religious languages. The bengali is mostly spoken too. You emphasised that you are able to speak about 4 or 5 of the languages. That's a great one, kudos my friend I hope you get to teach the younger generation to protect the legacy. Success in the challenge my dear friend

Thanks bro

Thanks bro

I see similarities between Bangladeshi and Indonesian where we have many languages spoken. And the society in our country is multi-ethnic with some kind of belief, but here we always uphold the values of each other

Bengali language is One of the best languages in the world, I hope you will enjoy teaching the language to the children in your neighborhood.

Thanks bro

Thank you for posting or taking part in this contest. I saw your post which made me interested in reading your post. You can master 4 Bangladeshi languages with Hindi, maybe they have almost the same language because I once had a friend of mine, who was Bangladeshi, he could speak Hindi. Don't be sad. Greetings success for you.

Thanks a lot bro for your valuable comment

Hello @mainuna Your post beautifully shows me the linguistic diversity of Bangladesh. It's inspiring to see your commitment to preserving and passing on your rich cultural heritage through language. Your dedication to teaching Bengali to your children as a tribute to those who fought for it reflects a deep sense of pride. Good luck in the engagement challenge.

Thanks broo

It's good knowing you're from Bangladesh.

Having such numerous numbers of languages in your country got me worried.
As well even my country has lots numbers of languages spoken but as well, they're always official languages as you country has too.
It's also exciting that you're familiar with 5 and can speak some fluently, this helps citizens in some aspects and made one understand and rate it's true origin.
Very good content and something educational to read.
Keep creating more of this.
Good luck 🤞

Thanks a lot bro
