INTRODUCTION

Emotions are mental and physiological responses to stimuli that can generally affect our thoughts, our behaviors, and can affect our relationships. In all what we do, we should be careful, God for things that makes you happy.
Thanks to @steem4nigeria for coming up with this contest.
A lot of people out there are passing through this and they don't even the know how to manage it.

What is your understanding of emotions?

Emotions are nature of humans feelings that greatly influence our behaviors, thoughts, and interactions with others. In my ways , emotions are powerful feelings that arise in response to internal or external stimuli, such as sadness, joy, anger, fear, or love. They can be both painful and pleasurable experiences, and are a natural part of the human experience.

Have you ever had emotions that made you lose yourself? tell us about it.

I have so much experienced emotions that made me go abnormal. One such instance was when I experienced overwhelming grief after the loss of my husband and that of my father. The sadness and pain were just too much for me that I felt like I was drowning in sorrow, though I struggled to find a way to cope with my emotions.

Explain 5 ways to deal with emotions.

I will explain in 5 ways on how to deal with emotions, so dear friends to deal with such intense emotions, I have come up with the following five strategies to be helpful:

  • Acceptance and acknowledgment:
    You have to Acknowledge the emotion you are feeling, and then accept it without any form of judgment. It is important for you to agree your feelings and give yourself access to experience them.

  • Communication:
    Talking to someone you trust about your emotions, it can your friend, a family member, or therapist. Just opened up your feelings and they can help you process them and gain a new perspective.

  • Self-care:
    Make sure you engage yourself in activities that nurture your emotional well-being, those activities can be exercise, meditation, journaling, or spending time in nature. Taking care of yourself is very important for managing intense emotions.

  • Mindfulness:
    You have to Practice mindfulness techniques to stay grounded and present in the moment. Mindfulness will help you observe your emotions without it affecting you.

  • Seek professional help:
    If your emotions get interferes with your daily activities, immediately seek the help of a counselor. Professional support will provide you with the guidance needed to manage your emotions.

With what I have observed, emotions is capable of hindering someone from achieving their goals , if they don't managed it well. When you don't treat your emotions it will lead to negative thoughts and self-doubt which can stop you from taking the important steps to go after your goals. It is important to address emotions in a healthy way so that you will be able to overcome obstacles and move forward towards success.

At this point I believe I am able to put more lights on emotions and it effects.

Emotions can truly comes in different aspect and talking of the bad aspect if it wasn’t well managed, that’s by talking to someone about it, accepting it and showing self-care, there’s tendency for one to loose ones dream

Emotions are a big part of being human. They're like our internal feelings that can really impact how we act, think, and relate to others. Emotions can be really strong and come up in response to things happening inside us or around us. You know, like when we feel sad, happy, mad, scared, or in love. They can bring both good and not-so-good experiences, but they're totally normal and something we all go through. Emotions make us who we are. Wishing you all the best.
