The Diary Game (20/02/2025) Skipping Choir Rehearsal Because Of Too Much Work Load In The Office

Hello diary,

It's me again your favorite gurl @missyleo, I'm always excited to be here sharing my daily life style with you. It's weekend already as my people will call it "TGIF" ( Thank God It's Friday) I believe you're all having high hopes because you're all going to unwind and have fun since it's weekend, I wish you all a happy weekend.

Waking up that yesterday at about 6am, it was a bit late as I must say, I quickly said a brief thank you to my God before going about my morning chores. As I was on it, a good friend of mine (male) came knocking on my door, thank God I had just finished taking my bath and dressing up. I was about going to make breakfast for myself when the guy came visiting, so I had to make the breakfast for two.

We had the breakfast quietly before I went back into the kitchen to arrange the food I will be taking to work for my lunch

After I packaged my lunch in the bag and I set out to work, my friend walked me down to the main road where I took a tricycle to work and he left to his place.

As I got to work I was about 10minutes late, I knew the reason of my lateness was because of the visitor I had, even as I knew that I woke up late but, I would've still meet up with work before the normal time of opening, now my salary will be deducted because of that lateness.

I joined my other colleagues in arranging the store and making it clean and tidy, then also displaying the goods item outside for side attractions for prospective customers.

When we were done, customers started coming in with their kids to buy a school bag (a trolly kind of). When it was 1pm I went to take my lunch.

When I was done eating, I went back into the shop, while creatjng time for others to go eat theirs. When it was around 3pm one of the company that usually buy things from us in bulk came around to make some purchase.

At this very point, I knew within me that before we will close from work today it will take the grace of God, because these people normally buy in large quantities and as they are here they will take time in making selection, and after that we will have to start giving them a new price tag and thirdly we will have to record the sales in the system and manually too. And another thing about this manual recording is that, it has to be done in two forms so that we will have to keep one while the other company have one for reference purposes.

So we started sourcing out for the items they needed one after the other from the warehouse and also within the store, this process took out a lot of strength from me, but I didn't have a choice than to do it since it's my work, besides we have been expecting a massive sales since, so now that it has come, we have to embrace it gracefully.

Before we could finished up with them, it was 6:50pm, and tiredness was my name at that moment. As they left the shop, we closed for the day and I went back home, as I got back to my house it was few minutes after 7pm. I called my girlfriend in the church @geegirl to find if the choir rehearsal has finished and also to tell her why I was absent, but she didn't pick up the call.

Few minutes later she called back to tell me that she just finished with rehearsal and that she is on her way coming back, she asked me to come out to the roadside that she wants to see me.

So I dressed up again and went to meet with her there, we gist a little on how the rehearsal went and she also told me about the meeting they had with our papa (Pastor). Before I bid her goodbye I had to take a shoot with her.

As she entered tricycle to her house, I strolled back to my house and prepared noodles and fried egg for my dinner.

When I finished eating, I relaxed a little for the meal to settled well in my system before I went and shower, from there I climbed the bed and zoomed off to the other land.
