Good day follow steemians today i will love to write on the topic fishery, but first of all what is fishery.
Fishery refers to the management and protection of fish and other aquatic animal of all animal living in the water, fish is the most pentiful of them they are specially adapted to live, raised and reproduced in water. The shape of their body enable them to maintain that balance while the gills are used for respiration.
Fish (in general) is a cold blooded aquatic organism i.e the temperature of the bloody of a fish changes with the body temperature of the surrounding environment they belong to the vertebrate group known as Pisces they are categoriseel as FINFISH AND SHELLFISH.

FINFISH: are blooded aquatic vertebrate that have gills, fills with and scales covering the body.

SHELLFISH: are cold blooded aquatic invertebrate that have gills, various types of locomotory organs and a shell/excoskelecton covering the cost. They includes

Catfish.
Mudfish.
Rays shark.
Mackerel.
Croaker.
IMPORTANT OF FISHERY
It provide job opportunity to people.
It is a source of food and protein needed for body growth.
Stakeholders such as fishermen gernerate huge income from fishing activities.
It brings about remarkable improvement to the social and cultural live of fishing communitus.
It is a source of revenue to government through granting of fishing license renewal of fishing license and tax collection outer.

Fishing processing: this is the preparation of fish and other aquatic organism like crayfish for consumption. There are many processes involved in food production. Through cooking the temperature with ice, killing removal of gills, removal of exact scales.

Marketing & Distribution: The processed fish can be package to make it more appealing and marketable, distributional marketing agencies.

SUB-DIVISION OF FISHERIES

Industrial fishery.

Capture fishery.

Industrial fishery: is the method of domestic, harvesting preservation and processing of fish used for food and for industrial purpose.

Capture fishery: is the kind of harvesting of natural occuring fishes and living both marerue and fresh water environment

In conclusion fisheries is defined as the science of rearing fish and other aquatic organisms for purpose of providing human food.
