Its a great privilege as I would be sharing my knowledge on the above subject matter "growing up In a rural or urban area".

Differentiate between urban and rural Areas stating three major features?

When we mention urban it really centers on a city and a densely populated area. They are such cities here in Nigeria the federal capital territory FCT Which is in Abuja is an urban area Lagos city and many others. Speaking about rural areas we mean villages which their source of income is mostly farming

The difference between both are ;population, development, and Inadequate facilities.

Population: the population in urban area, can not be compared to the rural area. Its three times the number of people living in the city .

Development: urban areas are developed ,But rural areas are not they are no good roads over there which could make life difficult for the villagers.

Inadequate facilities; they are no banks in villages, no hospitals what is they are small shops that retail drugs. The Basic need of humans is hospital so one can do check ups, test but such facilities are not there but in the town they are numerous banks , hospital s and it's very easy to locate this facilities the same with schools .village schools can not be compared to schools in the city.

Which area did you grow up and why?

I grew up in Lagos Nigeria. A city,Why? My parents where staying here they did business here and got married here as a child I will not decide where I should be given birth to but I happen to find my self in an urban area.

If you where told to go to the area you didn't grow up from will you?

I will love to explore other areas but it won't be so easy because here I have to leave my comfort zone leave behind friends and move to an area where I have no knowledge about " Travelling is part of education " they say .I will find it great learning about others what they believe and how things are done over there.

what things are they in the area you grew up from that aren't in the other ?

Banks are very easy to locate just few steps in Lagos but in the village you could pay 6 to 7 steems for transportation before getting to the bank. They are schools in the town good schools with wonderful facilities in them.in the village schools over there have inadequate learning facilities.

In the city of Lagos Nigeria people they are no farmlands farms or gardens could be found in the interior parts but in the village the main source of income is agriculture I would agree that most of the good fruit found here in the village are purchased in cities if I were to go to the village I would get it for free.

Movement from one place to the other could be challenging in the city it is not necessary that you own a car but one could use public transportation.in the village I see people with bicycle this is one of their transportation methods.

In rural areas people fetch water from streams ,river etc.they are no treated water but the people hardly fall sick .in town even with the so called treated water people diagnosed of malaria, typhoid, fever, and even colera. But all the same if this good borehole could be dug for the people it could save them of the stress mo's especially the aged ones.
