Promise is a link of trust between people. Trust cannot be given to everyone. We show loyalty to those whom we love and who are our own, to reveal their importance in our lives and to increase their trust. Sometimes a promise is made at a particular time.

There is another form of matter which is also called contract. But it is used in other business places. There is a written procedure in it and legal action can be taken against the person who breaks such a contract or promise.

Common Reasons

• When the person making the promise makes a promise without thinking, he does not understand the importance of that promise. In such a situation the promise is broken.

• In today's time, people often make false promises. They know that this promise will not be fulfilled, just to keep the other person under their control, they make such a promise which gets broken later on.

• Promise is trust between people. If the person to whom we make a promise does not trust us, then it becomes difficult for us to keep the promise. In such a situation, the chances of breaking the promise also increase.

Yes, I have experienced it. I had a close friend. When we became friends, we had promised that we will be together in every problem, we will always be that corner for each other where we can say all our things. Later, she gone to study in another college and left and I am in another college. Now she neither misses me nor does she care how I am. Whenever I message her, she does not even reply quickly

I handle the matter with a very calm mind, I talk to that person and that too not once but many times, I discuss it to confirm whether what I am thinking is right or wrong

Yes, I think that some promises are meant to be broken. Nothing in our life happens without God's will. If a promise is broken or a person lefts, then he is meant to go. Nature is never against us. She just tries to teach us that everyone has to read the chapter of their life, whether laughing or crying

What steps can be taken to rebuild trust after a promise has been broken?

Trust is like a glass and a broken promise is like a crack in it. I don't think that if someone breaks a big promise then he can ever be trusted again. Personally, I will never trust him again, but if the other person is adamant to build it then Nothing is impossible.
