Hello everyone. I hope you are doing well wherever you are seeing this post from. It's another wonderful time to share my diary of daily lessons with you. I hope you enjoyed the last lesson I shared with you some days ago.
To recap, I talked about "crawling is not a crime." If you have gone through it, you will notice I talked about why growth is one of the most difficult things in life and that we can't achieve what we want, what our hearts desire if we are not ready to grow. And to grow, there are some things we need to do.
If you have not read the article, I implore you to check it. It blessed a lot of people. I believe it will do the same for you. That being said, I am going to be talking about another important lesson today. Let's take our seats and read through it.
Have You Checked Up On Someone, Today?
Recently, I was discussing with someone something serious I observed in the life of someone. I asked him why the person refused to show up for the weekly meeting we do have. He told me that he may not be able to answer for the person, but what he knew was that he was busy.
We concluded the discussion by letting me know that he would ask him and hear from him what the reason for not showing up was. The person has been one of the committed people in that department. And, of course, he has also been one of the teachers for a particular month.
So, noticing that he was no longer showing up led me to be curious and ask the person that's very close to him. But unfortunately, the person could not also answer why he is not showing up anymore.
Before I asked about him from the person, I had noticed that he didn't show up for about four times in four weeks. I was thinking it may have been because of his work, or perhaps he travelled. I was just thinking, may be, may be... But when I realized that he didn't travel and he was around, I had to ask the person about him.
When we finally heard from him, we noticed he was not himself. He said he just wanted to be left alone for a period of time. We really didn't know what he was passing through. He was just not as happy as he used to be.
Have you checked up on someone today? People are going through a lot of things which they keep to themselves. If you have not checked on someone today, please do. It will go a long way. The challenges of life are overwhelming for many people. They may not want to share them with you if you don't check on them.
The truth is, people share what they are passing through with those who care about them. Maybe the person would have shared what he was passing through with us if we had asked earlier. It was getting late before we asked. If you don't see someone you normally see two times, ask about him or her.
Sometimes, that "little" checkup of yours may give him or her strength to overcome the challenges of life. Someone may say everyone has what they are passing through. Yes, it's through, but you must also be aware that it's greater for some people. Some may not have the strength to go on with their lives when they face something small, but there are some who may not see that something small as a challenge at all. So check on people.
Life is not meant to be lived alone. Check on as many as you can. Checking them may be difficult for you, but it may definitely help them. Sometimes you may need to go through some pains so as to put a smile on someone's face. It may not have any reward, but you have to do it for the betterment of society and because God takes pleasure in it.
Have you checked up on someone today? Make sure you put a call through or text someone whom you haven't seen or heard from for a long time. Ask about his or her welfare. Just make sure you check on someone. Checking on him may give him strength and hope that he's not forgotten.

The fact is that you wouldn't know the state of things in people's life if you have not asked about them. People go through a lot that can't be aired if you ain't close to or care about them.
It's so important to check up on people. Thanks for sharing an important piece in the community today, @msquaretk.
