It's another wonderful moment again. I welcome you to my post this time around. I hope you are good wherever you are seeing this post from. I'm delighted to write again, to share the lessons I have learned with you.

In my last post on daily lessons, I discussed about "a clear picture", and I told you that, when it seems you are not getting a clear picture, you may need repositioning. I believe you have learned one or two things from that lesson.

Life and Its Challenges

How do you keep going when the challenges of life seem unbearable? How can you find energy when it seems you can't find your drive? Sometimes, life may be very challenging, and you will feel like giving up. There are lot of things that may confront you, face you on the journey of life.

The truth of the matter is, life has its challenges and no one is excusable from the challenges of life. There's no one who doesn't have one challenge or the other. Our trials may not be the same, but surely, everyone faces a barrier that seems like a limiting factor on their journey.

Many people have given up their dreams because of the challenges they encounter on the way. So many beautiful ideas have been buried because of problems of life. So, many individuals wanted to make a great contribution to life, to the world around them, but couldn't because of the trials of life. They gave up on their vision and dreams.

Many of these people started well. They really knew what they wanted in life. Some of them even knew the way they wanted to go to achieve their goals and objectives, their beautiful dreams and visions. But what actually stopped them from fulfilling their dreams is nothing but difficulties they encountered on the way, the challenges of life.

This is to tell us that, beautiful dreams and visions may perish when the people who carry them can't fulfill them. You may know what you want in life, but if you don't have what it takes to overcome the challenges that accompany it, you may not be able to achieve it. It's not enough to know the way to achieving your dreams, you need to know how to develop capacity to overcome the trials you must face.

It's pertinent to know that, there will always be challenges. Fulfilling dreams is a road that's unfree of challenges. There has never been a road worth trending that's without challenges. Every road that will lead to elevation will have contours. It's called elevation because you must climb it, and nobody climbs successfully without proper planning. You need to know this: if any road seems to be free of problems, perhaps the road isn't worth journeying. Such kind of road leads no where. So, you need to be prepared for challenges ahead of you.

I want to suggest some things you can do to making sure that you don't get stuck when you face challenges on the journey to fulfilling that your beautiful dreams. I have the belief that it will greatly help you.

Anticipate Challenges

I have seen people who want to do great things, who want to achieve something significant in life, but they never plan for challenges. See, challenges will come and that's the reality. But, what you can do so that you will not get overwhelmed when they appear is to first anticipate them. Someone may ask me that, is it right to be thinking of problem that's not yet happened? And if I want to give my answer to that question, I will say, why do they plan for extra trye for a car?

If you will overcome challenges of life and move ahead to fulfill your vision, then you need to plan ahead for problems that may surface. That's one of the things I have learned lately. We don't actually plan for bad things and we get stuck when we face them. While I'm a man of faith, and I don't expect bad things to happen to me, but we need to plan for unfavorable circumstances that may want to hinder our journey to our promised land.

Make Your Mind a Bulletproof to Challenges

Another important thing you need to do even before embarking on any journey is to safeguard your mind. That will help you overcome every challenge that comes your way. Until that's settled, you may not be able to overcome challenges when they appear on your way.

One of the ways to make your heart or mind a bulletproof for challenges is to believe you can overcome any problem. Believing makes problems not to penetrate your heart. It's the best bulletproof you can wear on the journey to fulfilling your dream. Many people give up on their dreams because they didn't wear this safeguard material. Your heart is safe from bullets that challenges will send you when you guide your heart by wearing the bulletproof, by believing that no challenge will overcome you.

Don't Journey all Alone

The reason many people failed to achieve what wanted to achieve is not that they didn't know what they wanted nor that the road they needed to take wasn't clear enough to them, but they thought it's their dreams and they could achieve it or them by themselves. A person may conceive a dream, but achieving it requires many persons.

There are times when you will face challenges that requires you have someone to help you. If you keep your dream to yourself, you don't have someone whom you have shared with, who can encourage you, carry the burden, you may not be able to overcome the challenges that face you. So, it's important to know that, you need help of people if you will overcome some challenges of life. And the best people to help you aren't those who didn't know about your dreams. If they don't know about your dream, they may not be able to help you. That's why you need to learn to have someone or people who are trustworthy in your circle.
