A BRIEF INTRODUCTION ABOUT MY COUNTRY(GHANA)

Ghana was previously known as the Gold Coast. On 6 March 1957 Kwame Nkrumah proclaimed the nation's freedom. On 1 July 1960, Ghana turned into a ward republic with Nkrumah as the main President of the country. The banner of Ghana comprises of the varieties red, gold, green, and the black star.

Ghana Was the First Sub-Saharan Country in Africa to Gain Independence. Ghana was framed by a consolidation of the previous British Gold Coast an area and the Togoland trust. The Portuguese were the principal Europeans to show up. By 1471, they had arrived at the area that was to become known as the Gold Coast.
