Steemit Engagement Challenge (SEC)| S12W5-"My Skill Takes Me Up"

In my opinion, skill should be something learnt based on practice, or a raw talent. We get skills by learning, training, could also be experience too or natural like I stated (raw talent). It takes more to surviving these days especially in a country like mine, Nigeria! You need VALUE which are skills that may takes forms like "LIFE SKILLS", "JOB SKILLS" OR "LEADERSHIP SKILLS" so having basic skills should not only help you survive but also help in achieving goals and getting to a greater heights in life too.
I would take about some resourceful skills in surviving in a country like mine but the major should be the "COPING SKILLS" I do ring it to myself on the coping mechanism needed to survive here and how i could do same literally anywhere.
Resourceful skills as needed to state on earlier paragraph should be the ability to find efficient and innovative ways to overcome challenges, optimize resources and adapt at any state. These types of skills are highly valued in Nigeria, where the economy is facing various difficulties and opportunities. I could mention a few;
• Sales: This should involve your ability to communicate esp. With partners by persuading them to buy the product you sell especially at the price you sell.
• Builders/ Engineering: This skill is resourceful here as it gives you a huge value in the community in helping to build infrastructure, create innovative solution. This is a very important skill.
• Agriculture: This is growing and beautiful skill to help you achieve the satisfaction of being a Nigerian as food and other agricultural produce would be on demand.
• Technology: This is a fast-growing skill now and steady garnering more interested individuals both old & young now.

Here are some few i could point out. As a solution architect & a farmer, i got a skill which i would love to garner to improve more which is a "LANGUAGE SKILL" to help me improve more on communicating, understanding maybe even speaking as this is also a high demand skill here in Nigeria and also get a strong tie to the international market.

In conclusion, i know the satisfaction that comes with having value and also able to use those values to achieve positive results for yourself here.
