Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 26: The Diary Game(A Day of Adventures: From Chemist Meetings to Gospel Celebrations - My December 8th/2023 Diary)

Hello, wonderful community! I'm Oluwatimileyin and I welcome you back to my blog. I will be sharing with you how I spent my day on 8th of December , which was a Friday. I did my housework and took a bath after I woke up that morning. My mother informed me that I would be accompanying her to a chemist meeting while I was working on Steemit. I went to change and put on a suitable dress.

I then stopped a bike in front of the house and we hopped on it, it rode to the bus stop. We got to the arrived at the bus stop then we started walking. She informed me she needed to branch to the bank because she didn't have enough money and also to get some drugs. So she went to the bank, (its a microfinance bank).

I was waiting for her at the counter, where she was attempting to withdraw some cash.

We went to the pharmacy after she withdrew to get the medications. I was tired already because it was sunny.

We then boarded a Keke (tricycle) to the meeting and arrived safely. She was looking for a place to change because they had chosen a uniform.

I actually thought we were late because they fixed the meeting around 11 am but we arrived there at 12 pm, to my surprise they haven't started. In my head, I was like, "What's all this?" We were forced to wait, so we had to wait about an hour. I went to get malt and gala because I was hungry.

They finally start the meeting. Christians and Muslims both said their prayers. The gathering is more akin to a Thanksgiving gathering. They sang, danced, and rejoiced as a group. They also did some preaching. They served gifts to everyone at the end of the meeting.

When we arrived home, the first thing I touched was the food contained within the gifts they had packaged. I ate until I was full.

Then, in the evening, my elder sister and I went to Tafawa Balawa Square for Experience. It's a Christian gathering where gospel artists are invited on a yearly basis. It was my first time at the Experience, and I had a great time. I got a coffee to compliment my night also. We spent the night there, worshipping God. We wrapped up the show around 6am the next day. We then slept at a friend's house before leaving to our house.
