(1st Meetup) Let's Regroup By Means Of A Meetup Dear Nigerians

Dear Nigerian Steemians,

It is my pleasure to invite you all for a meetup. It is very important that we all regroup after that massive power down that took place some days ago.

I have been thinking of how to get us all together again so that we can encourage each other and thus move forward.

The importance of meeting up with fellow steemians can never be overemphasized.

Agenda

First and foremost is to invite credible steemians amongst us to take up the mantle of leadership by overseeing the activities of other steemians in their city. It will be great if we find a way to organize ourselves in our various cities and from time to time, have a mini meetups in our various cities.

Hence, anyone who will be interested in organizing the affairs of the steemians in their city including recruitment should be ready to make a formal application after the meeting and that is if we all agreed that we will do so. The name to be given to such leaders will be born that day.

We will also discuss how we can support fellow steemians by our upvotes. We need to find a way to support members with our little resources.

Other matters will be discussed during the meeting.

This meetup is going to be both in person and virtual. Yes, those in the same city and location can decide to meet in person while those that are far apart can connect through discord. Wherever you are, we all will join through a discord link that I will share at the end of this post so that we can meet up there.

Time will be 4pm prompt. Thats when the meetup will start. I

This will be an opportunity for us to see ourselves and know ourselves. The bond will also be closer as Nigerians who want to succeed together.

This in my city, Uyo can join me in my new steemit office.

Direction

Stop at the u-turn after Mbiabong market after Shelter Junction (if you are coming from Plaza) and enter the road by your right. Come straight at the second junction. Or, u-turn before the market and that is before shelter junction if you are coming from Ifa Market. Then cross the road at opposite direction and enter the road to the second junction. You can call if you miss road.

Those seen at the meeting will be identified as real Nigerians as we are facing a lot of double accounts in the blog. Hence, you will need to join the meeting with your steemit usernames.

How to join via discord server

Simply download a discord app if you don't have it. Do so from your play store. It looks like this

I already downloaded mine that's why is is showing open. But yours will show download, so click it and download the app.

Once you are done, the next thing is just to click the discord link here and join our voice channel. We will use the video.

It's going to be fun and awesome. Let's join hands together to rebuild ourselves and support each other.
