Application For Community Curators for December 2022 - Team Newcomer

It is my delight to apply to be part of the new team you just created which is dedicated to helping newcomers to grow. I read this invitation to apply in your recent update that you made yesterday here and I am willing to continue serving in that capacity.

A brief summary of your history on Steem.

I joined steemit on 26th July, 2020. So I am 2 years and 3 months in the ecosystem. And ever since then, I have been active here through thick and thin.

The journey has been worth all efforts as I have been able to achieve major mile stones.

I have been able to be consistent since I joined. I have learned a lot about steemit now and I have trust and faith in the ecosystem no matter how things are. I believe that whatever is obtainable here is worth all efforts and no where can be better as the grass is not always greener at the other side.

Details of any positions of responsibility you have held on Steem.

I am currently a country representative for my country and I have been discharging my duties since I was given that role until now.

I am a greeter in newcommers community, greeting, guiding and reviewing achievement posts as well as Curating successfully reviewed achievement posts with SC09.

I am currently part of team 03 November community curators, Curating publications with SC06. I have also been previous curator with different teams like life And Humanity curation team including the diarygame and we curated from February till March. Then I joined 7up team for April curation till
July, 2022 where we focused on steemgrowth, contest and burnsteem. I was part of team 01 during the October curation. These has exposed me to different users, communities and publications.

I am an admin/founder is steem kids and parents community and a co-admin in Steem4Nigeria community.

I handle curation account of @steemkidss and my personal account as though they are one of the SC's.

Details of experience you have had helping newcomers on the platform..

Although I don't like praising myself, but I can say that helping newcomers have become part of me. Serving as a greeter in newcommers community have made me to develop affinity for newbies. I love guiding them until they are able to get it right.

I don't like ignoring their questions be it here in the ecosystem or in my private chats. It's been more than a year now since I joined that community and I have built a good reputation for guiding them well.

I had been part of the instructors that educate newbies in our telegram group along with other instructors, we have been able to assist countless newbies especially from my country.

I have no doubt that I will do well when given another opportunity.

What country you live in and what languages you can read fluently.

I am from Nigeria and that is where I currently reside. I speak English fluently because that is the general language we use to communicate with the diverse language groups in my country, this is in addition to my mother tongue which is Igbo. I can also read English very well and with the help of translators, I can read publications written in other languages.

Conclusion
