Onboarding 2 new users. Assisting them to start their Steemit Journey

Ever since after the national meetup in my city of residence, I have had several people asked about Steemit. Even those had shown little or no interest in it had become serious about it.

On Monday during my workout training, 2 of my friends there asked me if I can put the through on Steemit. They had heard me explain Steemit to a lot of people and they had seen how Steemit has been helping me pay my bills, they then became more serious about it. Do you know that they even blamed me for not pushing them harder to make them join Steemit. Well, I told them that it's something they need to show willingness first and readiness as well. One is not forced to join else the person will stop halfway.

I then decided that as soon as I was done with my fitness training, I will seat down and put them through. It happened that way.

She already signed up since October this year but hadn't done anything on her account. I gave her the post by @the-gorilla on newcomers community that could guide him to start her journey. She went through it and was ready to write. I guided her on how to write it, the commute write a d the heading as well as the subheadings. She learned so fast. While she was still writing hers, I began helping the other lady.

After she was done writing her introduction post, we got hold of pen and paper and @benton3 assisted her to write the her username, her country, date and the rest. Poised to post, I helped her take pictures with the paper and I also took one with her

She then made the post and I had to welcome her to Steemit at the comment section of her introduction post immediately. I was surprised to see her respond to my comment because she left as soon as we posted that introduction post. That means that she is a fast learner. I wish her success. Done with elco, I quickly gave attention to this new user. I signed her up and retrieved all her keys for her. I assisted her to sign-in and update her profile settings. Then she joined communities and I asked well sent her the link to that same post that could guide her. She read through and started with her introduction post.

As soon as we were done, she concluded with her post and dropped it in the community where I asked well welcomed her via comment. She also responded. I pray they get serious with it and succeed too. Her introduction post is here

Leosmart was with us during the Steemit national meetup. I'm fact, she played an important role bot in joining to prepare food and in helping to serve steemians. This shows love for Steemit. She has been my close friend for long and close friend to my family as well. In fact, she and her husband joined us in celebrating our marriage anniversary. I still have more people that will like to sign up. They have called me to come. I am only trying to see how I can create time to go and sign them up. Promoting steem has always been my thing. I will restart it with full force in due course.
