Goal Setting

Coming upon this contest made me think about 2025, my expectations and more importantly the things I have set in place to make sure those expectations come to limelight.

Let's dive into my thoughts shall we??

What is goal setting? Explain.

I will start by first asking: WHAT IS A GOAL??

A goal is something you want to achieve. Be it financially, career wise etc. It is a clear cut set out objective with a time frame.
Goal setting is basically setting out a target for yourself on things to achieve with a given time frame. It could either be long term or short term targets.

We have short and long term goals, how can you differentiate them?

• Long term goals are the end product of your objective. What you aim to achieve while short term goals are the step by step gradual processes that you set in place to achieve the long term goals.

• Long term goals have a longer duration of completion time while short term goals are broken down into phases and given set time frames for their accomplishments.

Which of the goals is the most important to you

🤔🤔🤔Each of these goals are necessary in the process, but I feel the long term is more important. This is because the long term goal is the one that tells you what kind of short term plans to put in place.
Without the long term goals, people would have short term plans leading to nowhere.

Tell us about your short and long term goals in 2025 and how you intend to achieve them.

Well, there are some equipments I need to get which run in the millions. Also I'm going to be working on my creating and posting schedule consistency
I'll itemize a few here and then use them to draft my short and long term goal

• An EOS R mirrorless camera
• A gimbal
• An 18inches tripod stand
• Wireless microphones.

As I said earlier these items run in millions. How do I plan to get them? I've drafted a 1 year plan

Short term goals (1- 6 months)

• Identify the gadgets I need : which I've done above.

• Rent cameras for work and also get more projects to cover the cost of equipments ( then invest some of the proceeds gotten ) This way I create an investment plan from the proceeds I get.

• I'll use the proceeds from my investments to find more affordable options to replace always renting a camera. This way I would have cut short the money I spend on renting and channel it into investment.

Long term goal ( 6-12 months)

• Start purchasing some items off the list one at a time like the camera lens, etc.

• I'll make use of the items I've gotten to start making higher quality contents which I'll post and sponsor online. The aim of this is to attract higher paying clients.

• I'll take advantage of black Friday deals, discounts or installment interest free purchases.

By the end of the year, I should have gotten most of the gears I want if not all.
