Leisure Time

Since our body is not a machine, we need to take time to rest, have fun, and relax, although machines break down when they are overused. Our heavenly Father rested on the seventh day after creation, so we also need rest.

In your own words and from your opinion, what do you think the word leisure time means.

Leisure time is a time someone is not working or occupied with work. It is called free time. Time for relaxing, hanging out, meditating, playing, sleeping, chatting, seeing movies, etc. Leisure time is a cool evening time when we have no office work to do, no house chores, no school run, and no baby sitting.

Leisure time is time set aside for relaxation. A time where we have the necessary activities like eating, sleeping, and having fun generally. When you set out to do what you best enjoy doing,

What category of person's do you fall in from the short description I gave in my introduction? The first category or second? And why do you think so?

I fall into the first category: those who like to work and have no time to rest.

I love working and feel that resting is a waste of time. I can work from morning until night and sleep for just 4-5 hours. While growing up, I slept so much that I could be cooking and sleeping, and my food would get burned. That was bad. So now I feel I've slept enough during my younger years, and I need to work now.

It is said that "all work and no play makes one a dull person," but to me, I always have this feeling that each time wasted will never return, and so I try as much as I can not to waste any moment.

Resting and fun time will come, but for now, I need to work to make sure that when resting time comes, everything is in order. I see this working time as my planting season, while resting time is my harvesting season.

Do you have a set aside time for leisure? If yes tell us about it and if no, then tell us why.

I don't have a set aside time for leisure. Leisure time for me comes only when I am done with my daily scheduled activities.

I set my daily plan and target and work toward achieving all before night falls, so leisure can only set in if I am able to accomplish all; otherwise, I will keep working till I get it done.

Like I said earlier, leisure time for me feels like a waste of time. Since I have a lot of targets to meet, leisure time will always be the last option for me.

In my leisure time, I have lots of fun—so much that might last for a lifetime because my leisure time does not come so cheaply.

During my leisure time, I love to hang out with friends, relax, play music, chat online, see movies, and just play and have fun generally. I feel that could be the only time I have in a long time, so I enjoy it to the fullest until I'm satisfied.
