Living life today is dependent on what you can do. That leaves me to the topic "Skill or Talent"

In your own words tell us what you think a skill is and what a talent is

Skill

A skill is an acquired knowledge through a training process of about 1 year, 6 months, or 2 years, depending on the agreement reached.

A skill may be called an art because it is something we do with our hands. Skill requires our hands to get things done. There are so many skills that form an artwork but have no connections with the fine art that we popularly know.

People need skills to contribute to the modern economy. There are so many skills out there for interested people. The world today is dependent on what you can do with your hands. As the economy keeps rising, we should also keep advancing in skills.

Talent

Talent is what someone can do or perform naturally without passing through any training.

Talent is God's gift. It is something that someone is born with. A lot of people noticed their talents at an early stage of their lives while some notice them at their youthful age, it depends on when it surfaces.

I have a colleague who has this talent of making people's hair, she never undergoes any training but if she gives you a touch on your hair, you will know that it was truly a gift.

Which of them do you prefer and why

I prefer skill, why? because in the world today, not everyone with talent lives comfortably but check people with skill, 99% of them are living comfortably. Talent is something that could come once in 2 months, or 1 year, for me it is not a daily income thing.

My country needs a daily income business for survival and the only thing I can think of is skill. No matter the skill you have today, be it sewing, baking, hair stylist, makeup artist, wig ventilator, barber, cobbler, etc... you must make income daily.

Skill gives you food daily, no waiting for month end to get paid. Most salary earners buy items on credit before the salary comes and when the salary enters, they find out that they have nothing left. So skill is the best!

Do you have a skill or do you have a talent? Tell us about it

I have talent but I discovered that I don't need to be dependent on it because it is not a daily income thing so I learned skills (Baking/Cooking/Hairstylist/Content creator)

The skills I learned have helped me in the world where I find myself today. It has not been so easy merging all together but I have to do it because I must survive in this country.
