The Diary Game||Nov.7,2024||Harvesting; A Beautiful day With Bountiful Harvest of Yams and Bananas//

Hi friends!

Steem greetings to my dear sisters and brothers and all diasporan friends dominating in this ecosystem. It's another opportunity and great pleasure to share with you people my Thursday activities which is harvesting of yams and bananas.

In life there is a time for everything quoted from Ecclesiastes 3:1-2;" There is an occasion for everything, and a time for every activity under heaven: a time to give birth and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to harvest; this simply means that we cannot harvest if you didn't plant, and its and offence to harvest what you have not planted, though some people harvest through means of theft which is very wrong,they don't want to put their hands to work, they feel lazy when others are working " there's no food for lazy man.

Early morning on Thursday I went to farm to harvest yam because it is the due season of for harvest,beginning from early September to November is the season for harvest of yam. It only be harvested when the root as all dried and it can take a whole day for harvest depending on the hectares or how large is the farm.

While harvesting in the farm

This is when it was washed and dried under the Sun for proper storage and for next planting season.

The work is always very tideous because of how deep you have to dug the pits to harvest, but its worth the stress because of high cost of commodity in the market.

In the afternoon, I went to another farm to harvest banana, they were two different varieties. The local and hybrid that can be used for different purpose,

due to their sizes I only went home with one leaving the other one for my brother to pick it up later.

In the evening, I already had a hectic and stressful day in the farm harvesting, I lost so much strength I was weak and I had my bath and rested to recover back my strength.
