Gracious and her mother lived in a small village called Atah. Gracious was so attached to the mother because she grew up to see only her mother. But when she asked the mother about her father way about the mother told her that she lost the father when she was only one month pregnant. After the father's burial the family member noticed that she was pregnant. They asked her who was responsible since the husband just died. Gracious mother told them that the late husband was responsible. This answer provoked the family member and the chased gracious mother and ex communicated her from associating herself with any community member. Gracious mother sorrowfully left the husbands village to Atah a nearby village where no one knows her story. She was there untill nine months when she gave birth to Gracious. So from birth it was only Gracious and her mother. No relation, no brother or sister and the mother did not remarry. She stared struggling when the baby was 1year plus some months old, carrying the baby for her day to day hustling made the girl (Gracious) to love her mother like no other person could do. One day the mother felt seriously sick no money to take good care of her. All Gracious could do was to pray to God for healing and God healed the mother. Gracious went back to school and got scholarship to study at the university. She was doing excellently well , finished her studies no work. She saw online vacancy for a manager of an oil company she applied and was shortlisted for interview on that faithful day of the interview the mother was sick again seriously this time Gracious was disturbed because she was supposed to be at the interview hall by 9am and it was getting to 9am the mothers health was not still stable. She gave up on going to the interview to take care of her one and only mother. Exactly 10 am the mother regained consciousness and shouted congratulations my daughter. The daughter smiled and thanked God for bringing back her mother to her. She told the mother that she was not able to go for the interview by 9am due to her health. The mother encouraged her to rush and meet them even if it will be by the closing time. Gracious dressed up with all her credentials.

When she got there, everybody was outside looking so tired. She concluded that the interview was over untill she went close and asked one person and the person told her that since morning they have been here no one to attend to them. Immediately a bell rang for everyone to come inside. That was around 12noon. The interviewers apologized for keeping everyone waiting and started. Gracious was the first person to be called. After her interview she got the job as the Manager of ATk Oil and Gas. And she was happy after. The End.
