"My Experience on Steemit and Plans to Contribute to its growth"

Your first experience with Cryptocurrency and how you got to know about Steemit.

Considering the fact I am a very social person online, cryptocurrency was not new to me, as far back as 2015, I was already aware of bitcoin, but although I know little about it, the comprehensive knowledge was not there, I tried severally to look for ways to learn about this digital coin.

As such, I joined several groups on WhatsApp which wasn't of much help, although it added little to my knowledge but not extensively as I want, in conclusion, I can say my experience with cryptocurrency was far back as 2015

It was a fortunate year for me, joining the steemit platform in 2020, although I had a previous account that was compromised and I waited for a response for three months to see if there was going to be a message from the Steemit team which there wasn't, because I mailed them, so then, in 2021 I created another account and started blogging.

Your journey so far on Steemit and what you planned to achieve.

Well, my journey has been awesome, although it wasn't as rosy as you think, sometimes am tired, and stressed, demotivated, but all in all I am here today as a result of the hard work I put in.

It has been over a year and a half with the help of God and the support of the stremit team I have been able to accumulate enough steem and power up which I could, although I didn't take the powering up initiative more seriously, until the club's arrival, now the case is different.

My achievements are having 3000 plus of steempower, winning a few seasons of the engagement challenge, improved writing ability, and also a better knowledge about blockchain and cryptocurrency.

What is the most exciting innovation the Steemit team has introduced? Discuss. (e.g Engagement challenge, Crypto academy, Curation themes, Club Status, Burnsteem, etc.)

The majority will agree with me that all of the initiatives introduced are for the benefit of users and the platform, when each was introduced, there was an impact of the innovation in us and also some innovations are for reasons that are of benefit to us and the platform.

So choosing one will be very hard because each has its benefits and impact.

But for clarity of preferences, I will choose the engagement challenge over all other innovations because of so many reasons and few among them are stated below

• it crowded the platform with interesting topics and entries, which made it easy for all users to participate, unlike the crypto academy which was selective, selective in the sense that, not all could participate in the innovation and some still do not believe in digital coin.

___I have seen a prominent person on media advising people to invest in visible money not some visual money, ___

• It creates an idea of a connection between the users, for very past months now, I have had a lot of friends on-chain.

• It serves as a form of interaction between users, before the engagement challenge, I have never had up to 30 comments in my publication, but with this initiative, I have more comments in my post and the interaction is always swift and fun.

• it is also a fun and interesting initiative which has covered a good number of exciting c topics from various communities.

How do you intend on promoting Steemit in your country and also how you can contribute to the growth of the platform

Promoting Steemit is one of the important initiatives that has been and will continue to help with the growth of Steemit and steem, promoting Steemit is a task that requires effort and capital, if I have the resources to promote steem, I will print a banner, print flyers, make a signpost stand at some stops or junctions which are always crowded, promoting Steemit through various social media and importantly promoting steemit face to face to people.

One of my contributions to the platform is powering up, although it's for my benefit but also in some ways helps with the growth of the platform.

Secondly, adhering to the rules like using images that are non-copyright, supporting the clubs initiative of which I am a part, precisely club75, and using the burnsteem25 hashtag by setting 25% of my reward to null,

In addition, the new initiative now is (promoted) although I haven't supported this idea yet because I still have little knowledge to go about it and besides sbd just started printing, I just know we need to send SBD to an account, I have been expecting a post about this from Nigerian CRs, but till now there is none.

I will continue to look for a way to join the initiative since it adds growth to the platform, now that sbd is available, I am certain that I will see a lot of posts supporting this initiative.
