Hello guys,
It's a pleasure on my path to share with you all my entries in this week's contest which is titled "Everyone is a Winner" which was organized by @steem4nigeria. It is an interesting contest and I would love to drop my entry ASAP.

Before we go ahead I would like to invite @dave-hanny, @rakiya, and @josepha to join this contest in this community today and share their participation as well, I do hope to see and read your entries as well.

What do you think of everyone being a winner on STEEMIT?

What makes Steemit more interesting to me is the contests organized on the platform and contests from the very beginning have to do with selecting a few out of many who competed for something.

So to me, if everyone becomes a winner 🏆 in the Steemit platform then the aim of the contest will be defeated. This is the main reason why I don't feel it is right for everyone to be a winner on the platform.

So that being said, the idea of everyone winning on Steemit is not an ideal one for me and this is because people won't put in effort to struggle again. After all, everyone will be a winner.

Is the idea of everyone winning on STEEMIT fair exciting to you?

It's not fair to me and I don't find it exciting too and this is because the Steemit platform is more exciting with contests and also with the selection of 3 out of hundreds of participants makes more sense.

To me, if there are many participants and a few winners, everyone will want to do his/her best to ensure that they are the ones selected at the end as winners, and for that reason, it will be more fun competing than in a situation where everyone weathers you did well or not you are called upon as a winner.

How does the concept of everyone being a winner on STEEMIT affect user motivation?

As I have said above, when you say everyone should be a winner, you have killed the motivation that most people have to make their work more quality than others. In situations where you answer everyone as a winner not considering their effort, you will make others lazy because they also will feel reluctant to work hard.

Users won't have the zeal anymore to create a quality and outstanding article and this will be a very big issue for the Steemit platform as we will be having substandard articles all the time which will make the platform not stand out any longer among its equals.

So that is my opinion as regards users' motivation if it is made winners for all Steemians. So that shouldn't be allowed if we still wish to maintain standards on the platform.

Any challenges with everyone being a winner on STEEMIT?

Yes, there are many challenges with everyone being a winner on the Steemit platform. One of the major challenges is that users will stop producing quality articles and we will have people not willing to do research and grow their article standard any longer because everyone is a winner.

Also, you will see more population on the Steemit platform because even those who don't know how to write and are not ready to learn will come and drop anything knowing fully well that they will be called upon as winners as well.

Moreover, if everyone is announced as the winner, you will notice that earning the Steem token will be much easier, and that will also make the price of the Steem token depreciate greatly so that is not a good one for the Steem ecosystem.

What content would you create on STEEMIT to be a winner?

To be a winner in Steemit is not easy, especially in contests like the Steemit engagement challenge. I say this because many good writers participate in a single contest on the engagement challenge so for you to be called out as a winner means you have written an article that stood out among others.

So to me to be a winner you must be ready to create a quality article of at least 350+ words and you will use good pictures to explain a few things that your post is trying to communicate. When you do so, you will also need to use a good markdown to ensure that your work is properly presented.

Moreover, you need to engage with others to gain their support and also learn from them by reading through their publication. So if you do all that I have said above, then you will be a winner in Steemit.
