Hello everyone, it is good to come our way this time to join in addressing the issue of social media as it relates to our daily lives. Exposure to social media platforms is not entirely good or bad but whatever the case may be, its existence cannot be made light concerning technological advancements in bringing everyone closer.

▶️ Do you support that our daily lives should be put up on social media all the time?

Just like the saying; "different strokes for different flocks", what one likes, another hates hence it is an individual thing, everyone at his discretion. Every one of us has a manner of handling either what benefits or constrains us but whatever the case may be, the most important thing is self-actualization and pleasure.

Some people really cannot do without publishing their daily activities on social media. They create awareness for every new wear and for every enticing outfit. These set of people are addicted to these exposures which they demonstrate about themselves.

I cherish my privacy and would want it to be for me at all costs notwithstanding public things should as well remain public. I am not a party to displaying daily lives on social media because it comes with phenomenal exposure as well as poses safety threats to me.

Indulging in such exposure implies that every one of our moves is known to the world which can be used to trail us either for good or bad. For me, assumption is better than prediction when it comes to my daily activities, and any exposure through social media impairs this course.

▶️ Have you ever experienced or seen any case where a person has the habit of showcasing his life on social media and the effects turned out well?

Numerous people are there who practically live their lives on social media platforms. However, for this publication, I will be sharing one recent event. Blessing was my neighbor and somehow we related well and I got to know her better. She is a social media freak whose good morning first comes to social media as well as her good night.

She didn't for once introduce me to her spouse, and although I wasn't opportune to be present in the wedlock ceremony, but due to her incessant social media updates I got to know every bit of information. From who the spouse is to what he does, to where he comes from, and a whole lot of info. It didn't take me two seconds to recognize the spouse when I first met him because the face was already known from social media.

Truth be told, it is very implicative to engage in reckless publicity on our loved ones and a threat to us. Besides, I got to know when she was due for delivery, when she gave birth, when they wanted to travel, where they were traveling to, etc.

The consequences of living our daily lives on social media can't be underestimated due to the dangers inherent in it. Social media has been a tool for trailing people for kidnapping, killing, and other crimes.

▶️ Do you think all the showcases on social media are true?

Not at all, we don't have to accept all that we see on social media as true. A good number of them are nothing but fake displays for showoff to lure populations to their blog, it can also be a means of showing intellectually pretentious wealth to capture the opposite gender.

The emergence of artificial intelligence has really done a great job in assisting the showcasing of indecency to appear decent. Nevertheless, there are still some genuine public displays on social media but the matter is that there are lots of negative ones.

▶️ Do you feel safe on steemit with your information? What can you say about steemit

So far so good, none of my publications on steemit has posed any harm or been seen to be toxic rather they are of educational value. I have made several publications on different subjects in different communities and none is by any means a threat to the security of the platform or other users.
Although steemit is also a social platform, there is a need for equilibrium in all our activities to avoid jeopardy by disclosing more than necessary to the public.

Thank you, my friends. I am inviting @chilaw and @xkool24 to enroll in the contest.
