Hello friends in Steem4Nigeria community. I hope you are all doing great? I am doing well too. It has not been easy for me and my family in the past few months. Everyone can attest to the untold hardship and harsh economic situation in Nigeria. If you must survive as an individual or a family, you have to strategize on devising means to provide for your family as monthly salary is no longer enough and my case has not been different.
I had been very busy at work in the past few months as I wake up at 5:30am to be in the office by 7:00am and return home by 3:00pm, by 4:30pm I am out for evening market to sell my crayfish in order to raise extra money to support my family as our monthly salary is not enough and I return home by 9:00pm. I cannot beg as no body will give me even in this platform, yes because I can remember the many times I posted when I lost my steems trying to transfer to convert to cash it attracted no attention. Even when my phone was bad and I could not make post here I begged and applied for help and no one could give me attention. Despite these challenges I am not discouraged and will not give up.
I needed to engage my time and energy in an immediate cash flow activities in order to survive. I have to stay alive to become active. I understand that steem is a platform for a long term benefit and I am patiently waiting to benefit as well.
My inactivity does not mean that I am out of the platform. I think there should be a way of checking on inactive members as well as looking out for the once engaging ones who suddenly become inactive instead of concluding on their out of the platform. I think we are supposed to be a family reaching out to members to know their wellbeing and give out support when necessary.
This is a disclaimer to the comment by @wilmer1988 to a newbie @goodnessok that I just encouraged to join the platform. I think there are better words to have used like inactive rather than say out of or request her to contact me to identify her rather than say out of the platform.
Power Up
I was able to power Up my steem today and here is the prove.
We all struggle you are no exception and I know many high level steemians working at night next to a job with a phone that gets frozen after an hour or dealing with a white screen.
I wouldn't know how I could reach out to you I am 100 % sure that if I 'disappear' no one will ask or wonder about me. Steemit is social media where people mainly care about themselves.
I wonder why you didn't contact anyone? A short message, Twitter perhaps?
You can't expect people to keep asking where all those Steemians went they thought they were close with since the bitter truth is that even if you care you are dumped and receive no response.
