Hello Friends,

Checking out this contest and going through my gallery, I got to understand that photographs represents moments which are forever gone, and are usually impossible to recreate. Nevertheless, they are always linked to riverflows of memories to an individual.
I just need to look at a particular picture in my gallery, and boom💥 within a few seconds alot of memories, ideas and inspirations will rush to my head.
I greet you all according to your time, as I will be presenting a short story of my life with you, through my photographs.

It all started when I finished writing my West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). For a moment, I taught the stress of life is over, because I now got the freedom to wake up whenever I like without been scared of going to school late. I saw this as the opportunity for me to travel to places where I had not been to for years. This thought led me to travel to my state (Bayelsa), where I began touring Bayelsa as I went to almost all the popular places I have heard of within the state.
As you can see a gif of me under Swalli bridge exploring the market

After spending some nice weeks within my state, I went back to the barrack at Cross River State, Nigeria where I have been living together with my family members. To be sincere, at this point I had not fully decided on what to do next, as I was busy enjoying the free moments of my life without thinking of the stress of going through my books.

It's just one year after relaxing at home and I was beginning to get frustrated, as I crave for something new and my brain was ready for the new challenges. I then decided to enter into the Nigerian Navy through the Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA). I wrote and passed my Jamb examination, and I proceeded to write the entrance exam where 70 successful candidates will be selected for medical and mental screenings.
To God be the glory, I equally passed the entrance examination and we were required to come to Kaduna, Nigeria for medical and mental screenings. I had to barb my hair and travel to Kaduna where we stayed for over 2 weeks, as we were been screened in various aspects including physically, mentally and otherwise.

After a stressful and fun-filled screening exercise, we were all told to go home and wait for a list of successful candidates which would be posted online for everyone to see. Immediately I stepped out of the gate of the NDA with my bag, I took this picture below, because it marked a very important moment in my life where I took the first step of becoming great.

A list of 13 successful candidates per state was posted by the Academy online, and I didn't make the list, but I never gave up as I believed that I was destined for something greater. I wrote Jamb again, but this time I decided to study Computer Science in the Federal University of Technology (FUTO) Owerri, Nigeria. Luckily for me, I was given an admission to study Computer Science, and so far, I have learnt and done alot in respect to my field of study.

Conclusion

I am proud of some of the decision I took as a person, and when I look back at some of my pictures, I would just smile and say "I'm proud of the man am becoming." This contest is really very interesting, and I thank @fredquantum and the Steem4Nigeria team for organizing such an interesting contest.
