The dairy game: rivers get together celebration in our community 10% to steem4nigeria

Hello steemians good morning to you all my today's post is about the rivers meeting celebration in my community this celebration is being done by our mother.

River's get together celebration

This river's get together celebration is being done once in every month, they celebrate each other for being alive and also the main reason why they created the rivers meeting is because they want all the rivers people to come together as one.

This celebration was hosted inside my friends house my friends mother was the host of the celebration and also my friends mother was the oldest among all the women so she is being honor with a post of president in the meeting today being Sunday they didn't go to church, three of the women volunteer that they will stay back and prepare food and also they will get the drinks ready.

After I came back from church I decided to go and visit my friend, so when I went there I saw that the women were getting ready for the meeting so I decided to take some pictures of the food and the drinks

This is when I took a picture of my self when I was standing close to the food inside my friends house.

After I snapped the food I wanted taking pictures of them when they were inside the house but all their attention was on me so I couldn't snap, they were complaining of heat so everybody decided that they would come outside, when they went outside they continued with the meeting, as they went outside I lost hope of taking their pictures all of a sudden my friends mother called me, she say that I should join the photographer in snapping them I ran outside rejoicing that I will have some pictures of them, when I placed my phone to snap some pictures the photographer started complaining that I am obstructing his view so I snapped hurriedly before he then chased me away

Activities that was carried out in the meeting

1. They ate jollof rice then they also shared one take away to each persons
2. Sharing of drinks
3. Speech of advice from the president
4. Photography
5. Dancing
6. Sharing of gift

I was touched by the president speech the speech was so touching, the president was trying to advice all the members of the meeting should told them something that made me to know some life experience, the rivers get together made the community to be lively all thanks to them that is all about my post 10% to steem4nigeria.
