Self evaluation is the ability to carefully ponder over your past activities, indicating your strength, weakness and failure and having the zeal to improve.
Therefore, yes I truly believe in self evaluation because it helps in some many ways. Some of these ways are:
Inspiration
Self evaluation helps to inspire and motivate us to do better work, pressing harder and working on our strength and weaknesses so that we can improve.
Setting targets for a new year
It is important to always set target for every new year so that we would have to improve our abilities and strive towards making that target come to fulfillment. Therefore, if we are self evaluated, we will be able to guide ourselves into achieving our set target for that year.

A lot of events has taken place this year which taught me. One of them is postponement.
Postponement has done much to me this year.
On one occasion, I was meant to be an usher in an event which was to start by 3pm. So while at home, I looked at my time, and it was still 2pm, so I thought it was too early so I decided to take a nap. I was the only one at home, before I knew it, it was already 2:45pm, and the distance from my house to the event center is about 20 minutes. So I hurriedly left home and headed to the event center. Sadly, before I would arrive at the event center, I was told that I had already been replaced for coming late.

Yes, surely I have learnt a lot from my mistakes and experiences.
This experiences now make me do things on time to avoid regrets.
