Dear diary,
Today was fun no doubt, but also so hectic, starting from this morning. It was another school day, but this morning we were actually going somewhere outside the school premises, a training center which we will carry out our (IT - Programme) under one of our course of study know as GENERAL STUDIES (GST), this course is mandatory for all level 200 students, so probably everyone embarked on this training.
Since it is a general course it is also a part of our assessment, which means it is compulsory to take part in the training because at the end of the day we will be scored pertaining to our work, which is our assessment.
Back to the morning experience, I was late already, so i had to rush as fast as i can to catch up with my colleagues, since today was my first and I did not knew the venue where the training will take place, so I needed company.
My colleagues were already on the move, I had to call and pleaded with them to wait a little more. But first I was supposed to get a book at school before I moved there. So I did stop by school and rush to the GST office to get the book, which is known as LOG BOOK, the book will be used to record every activity and experiences in everyday activity of the training.
The book will later be submitted to the GST Board, the book will give account of our work and also our scores respectively.
Yeah! After I bought the book, I left the school and rush to catch up with my colleagues which were still waiting for me, luckily I meet them and we took off.
Since it was our first time we needed a guide to the training venue, so we made use of the Google map and it was truly helpful. We took a bus from the bus stop which took us to a certain destination to enable us locate the exact venue. After we drop from the bus we just had to follow the map, luckily we got there.
Now most of our colleagues we're there already, the supervisor and the CEO were already addressing the students, we did not hesitate to join them, few minutes later we were given the attendance list, which we had to put down our names and other details respectively, this is to indicate our presence there at the training center. After further addressing by the supervisor, it was now time for us to be introduced to the main business at hand. The training center is a fashion shop, so our area of training there will be on knitting.
We were introduced to a specific knitting machine which works manually. The machine which is called BROTHER MACHINE, was unveiled and we began to learn about each parts of the machine, few I could recall are the needles which are 200 in numbers, the Head which is the machine itself it does the main work, the clamp which is used to hold the machine to the work desk to prevent it from falling down, others like the comb, needle pusher, brush, counter etc. We were also shown how to couple the machine into one single fold after use.
In other to ease the work and management due to availability of machines, we were shared into different groups and each groups assigned their leaders.
To cut the long story short, today was just an introduction to the training, it was now time for us to dismiss. Everyone took their different routes, I and my friends took ours. We finally got to the bus stop were we retired to our different destinations. I took a bus from there which took me home. I was tired and hungry already, I rushed to take my bath, I later took my meal and had a little nap, just woke up to see everywhere getting dark already.
It was a stressful day though, but it was also fun. Still waiting for another training day.
