Greetings to you all the amazing people of steemit and the wonderful people of steem4nigeria how are you all doing I hope all is well, I would like to appreciate @simonwigwe for all his efforts in this community and for introducing such an amazing contest topic.
INTRODUCTION
So in my entry today I will be sharing with you guys some of the various initiatives in the steemit platform which are my favorite. Since all the initiatives in the platform that have been brought has always been for the success of the platform in which all Steemians benefits from, there have been a lot of initiatives which have been introduced in the steemit platform even though there are many but I will mark out some of my favorite.
WHICH IS YOUR FAVORITE INITIATIVE AND WHY?
all of the initiatives which have been introduced into the steemit platform are all nice and favourable to all but like the say "never be afraid to ask out the most beautiful lady in the room" which means that out of the many there must be a favorite.
So my favorite steemit initiatives is the initiative of "booming support" and I call it my medicine of encouragement, for me when I was a newbie and started posting articles at first I didn't have much support as I expected at some point I started to feel discouraged so one day I posted an article which was properly marked down and all of a sudden I received a booming vote which makes me so happy so I posted another article again and also received another booming support
And ever since then I have been receiving several booming support on my post which has really help me to grow my steem power and has also encourage me a lot to continue posting quality articles.
HOW HAS THIS INITIATIVE HELPED YOU TO GROW ON THE PLATFORM?
My favorite steemit initiatives of booming support has really helped me a lot in growing my steem power this few months for example when I first started to be an active Steemian last year November which I did my achievement 1 post I never for once believe that I would reach the level of steem power that I have today.
But all thanks to the curators who has offered my post several booming support which has not only encourage me to keep posting quality articles but it also help me to grow my account since my main target this year is to reach 2000 steem power so I know that with the booming support from high curators that I will be able to reach my target.
IF YOU ARE TO PROPOSE A NEW INITIATIVE FOR THE STEEMIT TEAM WHAT WILL IT BE?
If I were opportune to propose a new initiatives for the steemit team it would have been an all round support initiatives which will help gives out more booming support to all Steemians that has posted a quality articles.
Because there are some Steemians who have taken a lot of time to composed an article that is well arrange but after posting the article there will be little or no vote which at some point makes the person feel discouraged, so I would like the steemit team to issue out more amount of booming support to Steemians so as to encourage more participation, thank you.

IN YOUR OPINION, WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL HELP RAISE THE PRICE OF THE STEEM TOKEN
For me in my own opinion what I think that will help raised the price of steem is, first of all we all know that steem is used as a payment token on the steemit platform and this is where the laws of economics comes in which says that "the higher the demand of a particular goods the higher the price"
Which is to say that the only way to help grow the price of steem is to invite and encourage more people to steemit so as to increase the total number of active Steemians on the platform to increase the demand on steem coin which will automatically caused rise in price
Just like Bitcoin as seen in the news that the only thing helping Bitcoin, dogecoin and Ethereum are the miners, which is to say that miners helps mint new tokens on the blockchain there by causing increase number of tokens in circulation. And if you check the coins that have the highest number of circulation has the highest value.
And the only way to encourage more active users in the steemit platform are!! This is where my favorite steemit initiatives comes in which is booming support. If the steemit team increase and encourage more booming support this will serve as an encouragement that will attract more active Steemians in the steemit platform
CONCLUSION
One thing that I love about this platform is that each and every one of us are given the chance to share our own opinion and point of view which makes someone like me very happy, so I sincerely hope that my little opinion and point of view will be taken into consideration by the steemit team, thank you.
