FROM GRASS TO GRACE (part 2)

When the JAMB result was out, he had A's in all the nine subjects and went to the university the same year, but uncle James promise to sponsor him to the end of his school, together with his siblings, they all were happy. Years later, IME was sent to law school in the USA and was finally a lawyer.
During Christmas holiday he came to visit his parents in the village, and bought some food stuffs for them , which included rice , beans , milk . He bought a pair of shoes for his father , and a wrapper for his mother, and promised to do more for them . He also promise that next time he is coming back to the village he will come together with his siblings.
He booked a flight that evening, which he will return to USA the next morning, that night he slept comfortably in the village.
The next day, he woke up as early as 4:30am and started preparing himself, he took his bath, packaged his travelling box , and got ready to leave by 5:30am . He woke his parents up and told them he would be leaving soon, they had their morning devotion, and his father blessed him. On his mother seeing this felt emotional , but he promised to visit them in the next 4 months. His mother saw him off in the taxi, that would drop him at the airport. He left for USA , and reached safely.
The first salary payment he received was the one he used to buy food stuffs for his parent and the remaining money he use it to buy food for the family. When he was paid his second salary he used it to buy a car for his uncle as an appreciation.
Gradually , he started savings after three years, he found a rose 🌹 of his, a woman of his heart, he was interested in marrying her. They went for introduction, she was engaged and finally married the woman. Ime's parent were proud of him and thanked him for not allowing their effort to be vain.
Their first daughter became a medical doctor , while their second daughter was a pediatrician. They all took care of their parent in their old age.
