Hello my fellow steemians I greet you all,my name is @Raphealc,I hope everyone is doing great in the STEEMIT platform.
So many people may be surprise on why I wrote return back to STEEMIT,yes I have a purpose because of what I pass through,it was hell for me.I registered STEEMIT because of the advance things and post that is going on STEEMIT,@davchi made me know what is STEEMIT and how to post in the STEEMIT platforms.
It was so painful to me losing my phone after posting for the first time in STEEMIT,my introduction post,it was so unfortunate that I was just about to make my possession in STEEMIT,and my phone got Lost,
This is my introduction post on 15/10/2022 it is about six months now, which if I had been posting in the STEEMIT platform,I would have gone far than this.
my phone fell down from me while I was on the bike, when I discovered that my phone was not in my pocket,I had to tell the bike man that my phone has fell down from my pocket,we came turned the bike immediately and came back looking for it,I had no idea when and the particular place it fell,we search but we couldn't find it,we called the line and it was switched off,it means that someone had pick my phone and switched it off,I keep on trying everyday but it was also the same thing, that was when I know that something has depart from me,I was very sad and unhappy,it was a crucial moment for me and a painful moment at that time,it was as if I was left alone and something important has left me.i have no money to buy another big phone, and at that time my little work stoped,I now had another experience of being out of browsing and being out of STEEMIT.
It was another experience giving to me and I used it to learn so many things that I will be sharing with my fellow steemians.
THE EMOTIONAL COST OF LOSING SOMETHING YOU LOVE
is absolutely possible to experience feelings of loss, bereavement and grief even if what we lost isn’t a person. This can look like:
.having mood swings
.feeling tired
.not wanting to do your usual activities
.anxiety and depression
. feeling vulnerable
. wanting to be alone
.sleep problems
. changes in eating patterns.
WHAT CAN I DO TO FEEL BETTER AFTER LOSING SOMETHING I LOVED?
1:DON'T BEAT YOURSELF UP
It is actually okay and normal to be upset for weeks to come when you lose something you relied on.
Telling yourself to ‘stop being such a wimp’ or to ‘grow up’ is not helpful. Imagine you are talking to your best friend. Would you tell him/her to ‘not be so dramatic‘, or would you understand that losing something they valued has left them feeling vulnerable?
2.GIVE YOURSELF TIME
Consider it like a kind of mourning. Mourning takes time, and everyone has their own timeline here. You will move on when you are ready, and that is the perfect timing.
3.DO SOME DIGGING
The best way to get over something is often to go through it. If you can get to what is really going on for you, what the lost thing has triggered, then you can process the real issues and emotions.
But I thank God that I have gotten a new phone and I can post in the STEEMIT platform
Thank you all my fellow steemians for reading my post, please my fellow steemians, you can assist me and give me guildlines because I am still a newbie.
Welcome back friend... It been a while really, I hope you catch up in here be sure to have someone guide you through. Enjoy your time here.
Regards.
