Hello everyone, good afternoon to you all and welcome back to my blog.
What do you understand by the word hospitality?

Hospitality can be seen as the friendly and warm reception and Entertainment we show to our Guest or Strangers.

In the world where sometimes the "helper" becomes a "victim," should we still show hospitality? What's your take? Explain.

In a World where the Helper sometimes becomes the Victim we should still show Hospitality. We shouldn't stop helping people because of what the World has become, the only advice I have to give is that we should always exercise Caution while doing that.

Have you ever received unforgettable hospitality from someone? How was it? And why is it unforgettable?

Yes a received an unforgettable hospitality from someone which is still fresh in my Memory. I stayed in the School Hostel when I was in the University and my School Hostel System usually change Bed space/ Accomodations every academic Session. The Hostel application is such that if you don't pay School fees you won't be eligible to apply for Accomodations. Because of the constant Strike, the Academic Session was rushed and I couldn't finish my Final Year Project on time. Few days days after my Final Exams, we were asked to vacate the Hostel and I didn't have any where to go to. Most of my Classmate had the same issue. I had this roommate turned Friend that I met in my 300Level when she was in 100 Level. She squatted me in her Lodge without Complain for a Month plus until I finish my Project, did my defense and Clearance. It was an unforgettable experience.

Do you consider yourself a hospitable person ? State instances.

Yes I'm not saying this to brag, but I'm very hospitable. I could remember a Scenario that happened while I was in School. I went to use the School's WiFi at a Particular Spot in School and I met a Lady crying. When I asked her what was wrong, she told me that she came all the way from Anambra to rectify an Issue in her result but she was asked to return back the next day and that she doesn't have a place to spend the Night. Even though it was risky helping a Stranger, I felt this nudge in my Heart to help her. So I took her to spend the next in my Bed space.

When showing hospitality to people, how should it be done? Tell us.

In the World of today where lots of things happen, if you're showing Hospitality to people we should set some Boundaries, ask questions like how long the person will be staying because I have seen several situations where guests will come to people's house and relax and stay for Months without plans of leaving.

Secondly if you're being hospitable to Strangers, follow your heart. If you heart says yes, do it but if your Heart says otherwise, then avoid it. Every human has an inner Spirit that speaks to them.
