Story Story....

In a beautiful small town located in the western part of Nigeria lived a young handsome man known as Segun.

Segun had alot of friends, I guess because his heart was open to everyone, he was a social kind of person, therefore even though he lived in a small town, he was exposed to the internet and social media platforms.

One sweet attribute about Segun was that he gives. He is was a giver and never mind giving his last as long as it will save a soul.

Segun during his university days had no girl friend, even though alot of girls threw themselves at him not because he had so much money but because of his good qualities. Severally, Segun's friends tried to hook him up with some ladies but he showed no interest. Segun didn't believe in love, I guess because of the series of times his friends and family members called him to come and settle disputes between lovers. So Segun graduated without having any girl friend.

On a beautiful sunny afternoon, Segun was seating under a mango tree in front of his house. He decided to login into his steemit account. And boom under his diary post, he saw a comment dropped by a user which states how boring Segun is. He got upset with the User's comment and decided to respond to the user. He was so upset that he went and followed the users' account. The user saw Segun's reply to her comment and also got curious, she also followed Segun' steemit account.

Fast forward.....

After few days of replying to each other's post on steemit, Segun went to telegram to send the user who happens to be a lady, a chat. And she replied. Weeks later, they had resolved all their dispute and became friends.

Little did the user know that Segun already developed an affection for her. He tried severally to deny what he was feeling but no, the feeling didn't go away. He got so interested in the lady that he found out she was not from the western part of Nigeria. She was from the east. He didn't like ladies from the east so he wished she wasn't from there.

Few weeks passed and Segun did not communicate to his new found love because he felt he doesn't want to have anything to do with those from the east. She became worried and called but he didn't pick. She texted and he didn't reply. She tried several other means but Segun was not interested. She chatted him on WhatsApp to confess her love for him, Segun ignored her..She would comment on Segun's post and Segun would not reply. She moved on after months of waiting patiently for Segun to respond.

It was her birthday,June 10th and Her parents had arranged for a family friend to come over to the house so that they could link the two up for a serious relationship. She was dressed up waiting for the family friend to arrive. She got a knock on the door and when she got to the door guess who was at the door? Segun!! She screemed.

She forgot about all the hurt and hugged Segun tightly at the door with tears rolling down her eyes. Segun kissed her tender lips and said happy birthday to my love..
